Well day 11 is here and the plants look pretty good and healthy. #1 is about half as tall as original due to my poor transplant attempt, but it’s looking good still. #2 is chugging along at its own pace. I think it’s a little slower than last time, but it did get stuck in its shell for an extra day and half as well.
I’ve been giving them 4 oz of water every 4 days. Last night I also added a little recharge in the water and they seemed to of liked it. At least so far.
Also I moved the humidifier into the tent.
@Nicky@Not2SureYet Those nursery bags you posted; do you only use those for autos or do you use them for photos as well?
I should of gotten some in the mail today and I have to put some lemon Jeffery seeds in some soil tonight. Do you guys suggest using the bags or solo cup?
I’m pretty sure @Not2SureYet uses them for both autos and photos.
I haven’t grown a photo in a long time so couldn’t tell you although this image always sticks in my head so I would wait for @Not2SureYet to reply as he has the experience to answer that question. Right now I want to lean on using a solo cup for a photo because of this image but I have a strong feeling he’s going to say use the nursery bags.
Yep. They are good for any thing. I love them as they make it almost impossible for me to over water now. I just wait till the bag feels almost like it is dry in the coco I use. And once I start watering. The seedling just takes off at a fast rate.
Thank you for all the help you guys.
I didn’t get the nursery bags in the mail like I thought last night, but I did get some Maui wowie, gold leaf and gorilla glue autos in the mail last night.
I ended up putting the lemon jefferys into a solo cup because that’s all I had. Next grow are getting the nursery bags.
Day 14 update tonight.
Tonight I gave them both 4 oz of 6.5ph water. They look good and seem to be growing at a steady pace.
Currently got the room/tent setup as follows:
Temp: 78, AC fan kicks on at 81 degree.
Rh%: 65%
Light at 60% 25-26” above plants
20 day update! Maybe 21? Not sure I don’t have my notebook in front of me.
Things are looking good. The transplant from the solo cup didn’t stunt growth at all, just made it a little shorter.
Been going on the 4 oz every 4 days rule. Given 2 doses of recharge over the 3 weeks. Tomorrow is water day and I think I’m going to water til run off with 5ml of calmag. Check ph and see what my ppms look like. I have not given anything besides the recharge, I know the reading will be high, it’s just for me mainly. I have another few weeks before I need to add anything.
Also debating if I want to start the lst after watering or wait another few days.
Temps set to 78, rh is 65%. I have a heater so it stays pretty close to those temps night and day.
Lights at 60% at about 24” or so. To be honest I haven’t checked the height for awhile.
Anywhere here are some pictures.
First picture is #1, second is #2, third is both #1 on left #2 on right.
Heck yeah ! plants look very happy. Keep up the good work. Personally for me just a little early to start spreading the plant out. That’s just me good luck
My first plant got cut down on New Year’s Eve and hauled about 5 oz. I would love to be able to do that again. I’m growing in 3 gal bags vs 5 gal last time around though so we will see how that effects things.
My intention at the start was to top one and fim one, but I’m getting gun shy about it. I think I’m going to skip topping this go around, but I’ll do some more reading about fimming.
Do you lst a fimmed plant or just let it grow?
