Can you plant seeds directly to soil without the wet napkin first? Im growing in a greenhouse about 30° temperature inside.
Yes, I start with a 24 hour water soak for the seeds then plant in soil.

Yeah you should be able to with no problems. If farmers can do it with crops and people planting veggie gardens from seeds do this method. 
Now the success rate may or may not sprout. I always soak for 18 to 24 hours then damp toilet paper for 48 hours. Then put no more than a 1/2 inch down in their forever home. No transplanting for me. Lost a few.
