I honestly think it’s part magniesum and part a ph problem cause I checked my run off and it’s at like 5.5 so would adding ph up make it so I didn’t need a flush? that’s what I been doing adding like a drop or 2 per gallon to get it up Hasn’t changed the run off yet. Now what I’m doin is testing my water with the color chart the ph kit came with along with using the ph test indicator drops in the little vial it came with rinsing it each time I test obviously now I am waiting on my soil test kit in the mail. Also another question how quick would it change my run off waters ph when it fixes it self?
Your pH problem is directly related to your other problem, whether it’s magnesium or whatever. So concentrate on getting the pH right first and then the other problem will fix itself.
You have to add a lot more than a drop or two of pH Up. If you have the pipette that the PH Up came with then just fill it up and add it to 1 gallon of water. This is how you get “pHed” water.
Then check the pH of that gallon BEFORE you use it on your plants. If it’s not in the range of 6.3-6.7 pH then add some more Ph Up, 1/2 filled pipette at a time – to that same gallon of water.
Now check that gallon again for the 6.3-6.7 pH. If it’s in the range, then go ahead and use it on your plants. THEN check the runoff water’s Ph.
Now breathe.

This may sound dumb but pipette? is that the whole full squeeze thing or just a section?
I read that the ph up is a lot stronger then the ph down in smaller amounts correct me if I’m wrong
When I add, I do less than a 1/2 pipette ( maybe 5 or 6 drops). to start. Of course, how much depends on your starting point. Then check, you can add more if needed. If you do too much at once you’ll end up going back and forth with Up and Down to get it right.
Even after you set your PH, check any remaining water again before using. PH changes as it sits (I think it changes with temperature but not sure).

I’m sorry, I was trying to be clear, but I guess I got sidetracked. Yes, that squeeze thingy is a pipette, but you can’t accurately measure with it, that’s why I said use a full or half full pipette.
You don’t need to be afraid of PH Up, if you put too much in the gallon of water, then just dump it and start over using a little less PH Up. Don’t put PH Down in the water that you put PH up in - just start over instead. After a few times, you’ll be able to eyeball it.
Also, remember to stir or shake the gallon of water a little before you test the pH.

You’re right, after a couple times you can get it really close just by eye-balling it.

Yeah very good to know again sorry I’m totally new at ph control and now I learned something else I hope I can fix this issue soon cause she’s still growin strong just the bottom leaves are dying off slow I had to move my grow light up another 12" within a week i honestly am just having trouble understanding and more so correcting the ph problem time will tell like I said

It’s okay. You can do this! Just take your time and don’t panic.
How old is this plant? Sometimes bottom leaves just turn yellow and die off, it’s not a catastrophe. As long as the new growth looks healthy, then I wouldn’t worry too much.

Oh, so she’s flowering? If yes, then leaves will start to yellow and die off. This is perfectly normal.
Those small, dead leaves on the bottom mean nothing, just takes them off.

Well, luv, she looks like a pretty healthy plant. I think if you can just get the pH under control, you’ll have smooth sailing till harvest.
When will you switch her to flower?
I’m tryin for 4 more weeks for her I also got some auto flower white cheese I started a little later then this one and their already catching up those ones have no problems as of yet thank god
