When young you only need just enough water to dampen the soil. Not the whole pot. Okay thank you that helps a lot should I measure my water right now I use about a quarter of a bottle everyday is there anything I need to change in my box to help and when it gets taller is there a better bigger light I can use that would be cheap sort of ---

Lots of us are on tight budgets so no worries. One thing that will help a lot is a pH meter. You have to keep the pH of the water areound 6.5 for soil or the plant can not get the nutrients it needs. I will find a link for an inexpensive one. What kind of a budget do you want to invest? We can help no matter what. ---
