California Outdoor 2023 Organic Grow

I didn’t even consider the irrigation aspect of it. I am guessing you have your schedule set as it would be too hard to water by the weight of the pot lol

Today I removed 2 little trunks of the culled plants 5 days ago, to help with root decomposition.

Your garden is really rockin’ it! Very beautiful!
Question, how often do you spray with BT? I’m going to spray tonight with PC1 and BT… how long do I wait to spray again? Are you using BBP?

LOL… that’s correct hahaha! A few of mine are directly in the soil, but the pots are only 45 gallon ;-)… still can’t lift them

Thank you @Caligurl

Not using Bud Buster Pro, I have only sprayed BT once so far this year, been using PureCrop1. I spray BT once every 10 days, then stop the 1st few weeks of flower.

Thanks! I bought insect row cover for when they start flowering. I’ve already ‘bagged’ my little auto and it’s doing fine underneath it.

How often do you need to use purecrop1 and is it safe to use during flowering?

I use it about every 10 days… you can use it through flower… I even use it on my berries even when they are berry-in (lol) you can even add other stuff… tonight I add BT because I found some tiny caterpillars on my tomatoes

Great to know! I will also use them on the tomatoes while they’re tomato-in. I am not seeing much on my bigger plants outside, I still wouldn’t mind being proactive. Also, I can’t find ladybugs anywhere near me, everyone is sold out.

That’s what I try to do… IPM (Integrated pest Management)… it’s a must outdoors! So even if I don’t see bugs, I still spray.

I have done some strategic thinning here and there.

I top dressed some wood ashes, seabird guano pellets, insect frass, bio-live, and some bloom Dr earth on 100 gallon Dos Si Dos cross, I used some extra dirt from 100 gallon bag neighboring. I also added amendments into 100 gallon bag with no plant as it has roots from both plants in it, below

I added a fencing wire bumper around south side of 200 gallon Willys Wonder x Skunk to help support and protect those hefty branches :evergreen_tree: 5 gallon bucket in there for perspective purposes. I gave them all some water with Deuce Deuce, and Simply Silica yesterday, followed by plain water chaser from irrigation system.

I put up more fencing wire to support trellised out 200 gallon Backseat Preacher.

100 gallon duo, one of the dogs got in there to dig out the fertilizer I top dressed, didn’t break any branches, I have gate better secured. It twisted branch a bit upside down bottom left Dos Sis Dos cross, it’s still straightening itself back out.

65 gallon with another Dos Si Dos cross on a furniture dolly :steam_locomotive:

Thanks for visiting, wishing you all the best :flight_departure:

Forgot to mention that I included fulvic acid, 1 tablespoon per gallon, with the deuce deuce and simply silica.

Me also. I wish mine were as big and bushy as yours but I have realized the growing season here is short and I have tried to fine tune techniques to increase yield.

Best to you.

I did some super cropping today on most of the plants to even out the canopy, and not let them go too ballistic :evergreen_tree:

I’ve seen a couple small praying mantises on plants :star_struck:
