Your plants are looking bout ready, mine too. I know you have posted in the past about a good moon phase for harvesting? Full moon is the 6th, today, was wondering if i should be harvesting? New moon is 21st? Not sure when is best according to the moon? Thanks in advance.

@W.B.elpaso yes, today and tomorrow great for harvesting if you have anything ready, Aries moon- fire sign - air and Fire sign moons the best for chopping. Gemini moon will be here in about 3 days late Thursday, early Friday. I try to avoid harvesting on water sign moons at all costs, will do earth sign moons if necessary.

I got everything harvested last week into paper bags this morning, bags felt heavy plus looked and smelled very nice, I am most grateful Will get it all into cure bags soon, I have been using Grove bags, and been pretty happy with them.

I picked up some of these to try this season:

We have a good stretch of weather the next few days and I am going to try and make til Friday before chopping more. I have one plant - a later start White Widow Skunk - that will easily go until the 10/21 New Moon. I was pruning sun leaves off it yesterday and it really smells nice, it just needs more time though.

The waning phase of the moon starts after the Full moon, it helps with thickening and ripening of fruits… I like to chop when I feel like the buds are done swelling, and the trichomes are mostly cloudy.

Under a Gemini moon I did a 2nd harvest on 11 Roses: [IMG_6226] And I harvested the big buds on 100 gallon Backseat Preacher, broke it up and inspected, it’s all washed and in hanging net drying rack… all pictures pre-wash. It got down to 49° this morning, looks like it brought out a little color. [IMG_6227] [IMG_6228] [IMG_6229] I am most grateful

@JBB We have received 1.25 inches so far, some of the lower branches still got wet from the sideways rain, most of it stayed dry. Thank you I love seeing the different phenotypes in a bag of beans. Here’s the green one, looks, feels, and smells better in person, I 2nd harvested the bigger buds off both plants this afternoon.
