California Outdoor 2023 Organic Grow

Thank you @Dforce

The volunteer looking likely female :evergreen_tree::four_leaf_clover::star_struck::peace_symbol:

Time to come up with a plan, maybe another week running lights at night, go natural light only to induce flower, maybe take a few clones with some bottom branches 1st, I really want this one too breed. I’m impressed with the December outdoors germination. I don’t have it in me to keep schlepping the lights back and forth to stop it from flowering. Running the lights on some outdoor clones, maybe doable…for a bit.

I’m eyeballing 4/2 to start germination :rocket::evergreen_tree::fire::partying_face: for the 2025 summer garden :sun:

Yikes, that’s getting close! Maybe I should decide but I’ve already got 2 clones coming so I may or may not, actually drop any beans. This cactus thing takes up a lot of time and will also be spreading to at least one tent.

I have not decided about bean drop time yet, here’s a night shot, started putting lights on the side several days ago :evergreen_tree::rocket::partying_face::four_leaf_clover: more towards the undercarriage.

Some lovely sunshine :sun: here and there too :rainbow:

Thank you :star_struck:

We put up some shade cloth yesterday on a 10 x 10 pop-up canopy, and I took off the mini greenhouse…

I actually fed her some simply silica, 7-3-1 Dr Earth bat guano, vitazyme, unsulphured blackstrap organic molasses, alfalfa meal, and neem cake mixed into some water…

You can say the cooler side thing for real! We’ve had days of sleet and hail and a lot of rain…

Our most vigorous winter volunteer is a male :rocket::fire::rainbow::four_leaf_clover: he will augment our breeding program :four_leaf_clover::sun::zany_face:

Under a waxing crescent Gemini moon :crescent_moon:
I dropped some beans, soaked in water for about 24 hours then planted in nursery bags filled with seedling soil, on 4/2.

A baby slug ate one regular sprout for its last meal RIP :headstone: we had 85% germination rate. All the regular beans sprouted, most of the feminized ones too.

Feminized:
1 ILGM Afghan
1 ILGM Gorilla Glue #4 - both of these purchased several years ago during a sale.
2 Peyote Gorilla
2 Eleven Roses
2 Something Good
1 Ultimate

Regulars:
4 Wednesdays Child
3 Backseat Preachers

I’ve never grown a male this large, usually keep them in nursery bags, and they stay small.

The regulars:

The feminized, except one, a Something Good stress seed could go either way - SG :backhand_index_pointing_down:

I mixed up a gallon of water and added an ounce of vitazyme yesterday, gave each seedling a few ounces, watered the aloe Vera, catnip and other plants/shrubs with the bulk of it :evergreen_tree: @Budbrother
