I prefer the vaporizer when I medicate to not interfere with my running :running_woman: hobby. Still make these for the wife, fork there for scale.

ILGM AK-47 auto from last season…good day time strain, has a blueberry smell and taste. A bomber like that good for a few sessions.

The NL autos getting chopped tomorrow. It’s interesting that the main stalks - already chopped by the way -took the brunt of the stunting, these that i left grew more typically.

Watering the big ladies this morning, wanted to wait til tomorrow, however, the GSC-x was complaining a little.

They looking wide now and still stretching. About how far are they currently sticking out from the cage supports? Are you planning on bracing the outside perimeter? They look like they will have heavy nugs and will flex a good amount is why am asking.

@LF-the-OG All great questions, Fire :fire: OG, CA Dream and GSC-X, hanging out the most, from 10 to 18 inches, Train Wreck, Kosher Kush, and GG#4 hanging out from a few inches to 12 inches. I plan to support the branches as needed, currently focused on bending and training to keep below fence height, hoping gravity helps weigh down the heavy flower clusters about to start forming. It’s looking like 1st week of flower starting to happen…I’m pretty much done super cropping from here on out.

@Big123 you seem pretty experienced in growing and you’re sort of near me, same growing climate, what will you use to control pests when your girls flower? Also, I was thinking of moving one of mine inside to flower, once my other girls finish flowering and drying inside. They probably have another 4 weeks until harvest and then I’ll be drying in the tent as well. My concern is that they start to flower outdoor before I can neem treat it and bring her inside. Just wanted to see what you thought, thanks.

I’m up in Santa Barbara County so somewhat similar. Identical to the pests lol.

Neem oil should be applied as a preventative and should be done weekly FYI. There are other strategies including the use of BtK spray (beneficial bacteria to us; toxic to caterpillars), Spinosad, peroxide and water and the best thing is horticulture cloth or screen. That’s the only thing that keeps the bigger stuff out. But there are little pests that require the Neem oil and peroxide spray like spider mites which can decimate your crop without you knowing.

Do you use all of those things during flower? Neem just smells nasty and I’m sure it will taste nasty. I do plan to do a wash with baking soda and lemon juice in a five gallon bucket of water, followed by two other plain water rinses. I just don’t know what is cool to use on the buds, if at all. It’s going to be painstaking to treat it while not getting anything on the buds.

@ElChingon82

I have never used neem oil, your question reminded me to treat dirt part of yard with food grade diatomaceous earth, have not done yet this year. I had bought extra bag last season.

I started using this for caterpillars/worms.

Bringing outdoor plants back inside Might just give bad insects a ride inside on plant and since they’ll be inside no beneficial insects able to keep the population of the bad insects down, could spell problems. I would say they would need disinfecting/spraying before coming indoors.

I think neem smells rather citrusy and pleasant. I’m sure i wouldnt want to taste it on my buds tho.
