Bushy. Will light be able to penetrate? Have 1600 watts of led lighting

1600 watts is an awful lot. Do you know the true power draw on your light?

Such a compact plant should be trimmed to aid both light penetration and airflow. I would take a bit off, yes.

You might want to consider a bigger pot too.

Welcome to the community , It would be a good choice to start spreading the limbs out for better light penetration also look at Bigger pot soon. Just my thoughts good luck

@Davidsturgin she looks so pretty doesn’t she…but it is time to shed some of those bigger fan leaves to allow light and more importantly air flow…mold grows when she is thick and no air flow…doing just fine

I agree with others, pluck a few leaves and repot. It looks a little over watered right now.

You’re being shown the right path.

Clean up the bug fan leaves, put that girl in a 5 gallon container, be mindful of too much light.

Your light appears to be a bit burple. When you take pictures, turn that light off and use your flash. Burple gives an unaccurate picture of color.

I’m gonna be honest. You have something going on there though. Could be over watered, and/or over feeding, too hot… could be just too small of a pot.

If you want some help, there’s a great bunch of folks here. Just ask.

Happy growing!

Watching.

what is the actual watts use by your light. If it was advertised as 1600 watts normally the actual draw is 10 percent of that or 160 watts.

All of the above. Are you wanting to train or top her? I strongly recommend doing something other than growing a christmas tree. Because, if you don’t break the apical dominance of the main stem, that is what you will end up with. You need a lot of light including side lighting to grow that form.
She is healthy, and it is not too late to 1) transplant to a larger pot, and 2) top or bend the main stem and when the side branches catch up, spread them and tie them off.

You will glad you put some learning time into your first grow. Then you can add onto that experience.

good luck

Agreed. Its a great time to top her.

Dont be scared of it. I was VERY apprehensive with my first toppping. I top mine in between the 4th and 5th or the 5th and 6th nodes.

Here is a great post. Read it.

What lights are you using
