Brown spots on leaves, light burn or disease?

@ThatsNotMineOfficer so I found out something interesting today, I used a pool test kit to measure the pH of my tap water that I have been using to water, and much to my surprise it near or over 8.0 according to my result. I went and bought some distilled water as mentioned earlier and it’s much more inline with my ideal pH (obviously). Took pictures of both results. I’ll be using distilled water until I get a handle on managing my tap water to a desirable level.

Our tap water is also around 8

Make sure to add calcium and magnesium as part of your feeding routine. Distilled water lacks all the necessary minerals :love_you_gesture:

Yeah my city water’s ph is around 8 as well, as previously stated you’ll want to add some CalMag as you water, and some ph up or down to get your water ph within limits, you can even search your city’s water quality report online to see what’s all in your water, I was shocked to find there’s very small traces of calcium in my city water, so adding CalMag is needed in many areas throughout the world if using tap

@OGIncognito @ThatsNotMineOfficer got my pH meter and some cal-mag today. I’ll supplement the distilled water with cal-mag and use up the 5 gallons I bought. I ordered some chemicals to reduce the pH of my tap water so I should have a handle on that soon. I pruned the bad leaves on that 1 plant and it seems to be doing fine, looks healthy, just a bit smaller than it’s buddies.

Thanks for all the help everyone I never imagined this would be such a technical adventure. I’m glad there is a great support network here!
