Nothing really different. Had some crazy wonky stretch starting that worked itself out. Other than that, I’d sure like to go back to coco after this grow. I feel like I should be further along, but meh, whatevs.

Still playing nature sounds and soft music at 432hz. Still only distilled water. Haven’t adjusted light or anything really. So here they be…

Krista’s Week 3 Update

Bose Lifestyle Ultra Speaker outside intake fan/port.

Currently running a “plant playlist” with a variety of true tones between 40-700 Hz on loop for two hours 2x/day.

Without a control it’s really hard to gauge a noticeable difference, especially growing new strains.

I was impressed with their root development when I transplanted tho!

Last feed was still Mega Crop 1 @ 0.6EC.

Week 4 Update…

I know a few people have been noticing differences already this grow; growth rate, leaning towards the sound… Let us know if you’re seeing anything worth noting!

So from a few days ago

To a few minutes ago

The chicken lady is definitely pulling her weight, her sister is booming.
I did feed calmag, silica and minors with a touch of yucca. Lights are at 460 par.
The big difference is, I think, Monday I blasted them with loud, heavily syncopated music.
The lights are centered, but the gal on the right (look at the pic showing mainstems) is definitely leaning into the speaker.
That’s the exact opposite of what I expected.
I was going to give them another dose but things got a bit busy, they got some swinging gospel instead, low volume.
Tomorrow I’ll turn them 180°s, give them some light N and back to the loud stuff.
RH is only 35% right now, and y’all can see it in the leaves. My fault, I didn’t refill the humidifier.

8/21/26 update Day 18 from sprout

18/6 light schedule

This first part of week the girls got up potted into 5 gallon grow bags with worm castings, microrizal, and plant probiotics and watered in with recharge. They moved into the 4x4 grow tent with the Mars Hydro Fc4800. Yesterday they got their first drink of Bobby’s Brew Compost Tea Veg formula mixed at 50% the recommended amount. They are getting plant based 437 hz music, night time sounds, thunderstorms and nature sounds during the evening and mix of rock,metal, rap,and country music during the day The girls seem very happy​ so excited to see what next week holds​

Environment: ACI 3x3 vegg tent with 2-6" fans and 6" filtered exhaust

Light/Cycle/Height: ACI 300w Ionframe/18-6/static

Day Temp/RH: 75F / RH 50%
Night Temp/RH: 68F / RH 60%

Sound: Playing Mother Earth’s Plantasia every morning on a Bluetooth speaker along with a 136 Hz tune fork a couple times throughput the week. I have noticed some lean but growth seems to be on par with past grows.

Nutrients: Kosher, Great White. (EC 1.8/Ph 5.8)

Watering approach: DWC hydro

Issues (if any): Heat got above 85° one day this week because my bride shut the door on my lung room. Taco’d a couple leaves momentarily, they bounced back just fine.

Notes: Swapped half the rez with fresh, brought EC up a touch more.

Day 20 from sprout, roots down and tops starting to go! The grow off girls.

All got a 20 ounce bottle of MC1 at 1.8 EC and 5.9 ph.

Everybody nestled back in the tent, will chop PCC lowers tomorrow and get them into a larger home in the Situation Room.

This weeks sounds were Boston, Zeppelin, Aerosmith, KISS, Kansas, 80s rock. They are finally growing up, they have been putting down roots, hope to go to runoff watering next week. Also increased the blue white light more, it’s at 100 percent and red on 40. Happy weekend yall!

Sound: still playing Viking music I have noticed that the plant you see that is bigger then the other one is the one close to the music and even there they both sprouted about 5 days apart there is a huge difference in growth for sure.and it’s hard to see in the picture but the big one in the front is also leaning towards it as well.

Nutrients: I’m running the Athena nutrient line

Watering approach: I use a water buckets

Alrighty yall, I transplanted the gals today into 5 gallon bags to veg in, this soil has had a handful of bat guano and alphalpha meal mixed in about a month ago maybe two, lets see how these gals like it. I also dropped 4 more gscx straight into cups of soil figured Id keep these vegging for awhile and see what we can do with 'em nice and slow like.
The gals are on week 3 I believe, Ive also bumped the ppfd on up to 450/500 and the DLI is 20/25.
They have been jamming to Pink Flyod today also some Pearl Jam.

Day 20 from sprout…

Got 2 smaller girls and 1 that looks a lot further. I believe this is due to the intense heat wave we’ve been under a with no end in sight.

They’re getting plain water still, with music/sounds at 432hz and 528hz. This week I will introduce nutrients.

I have switched from Jacks (my Part A is in giant chunks) to Mega Crop 1 Part

About 22 DLI at around 450ppf.

I can’t tell if the sounds are contributing anything special but the girls are doing good!

Week 5 updates:
I’m really loving the Gold Rush nutes.
Gals are really strong so far, I’d be interested in hearing from the breeder about these genetics.

Flip will happen in a few hours (4pm Houston time). That will give me lights-on before and after work.
Still only playing music 3 to 4 hours a day, but they seem to enjoy Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
Maybe worth a mention, since going to tribal African the tent perked up, and we actually had some much needed rain in SE Texas.

Sounds Nature birds singing crickets, when and after watering play rain storms and creek flowing over rocks

Reaction from sounds plants love it growing spurts, have to run it constantly to get nice reaction having hard to keep limbs tide down don’t know if that is generic or sounds

Day 27 above ground, all got a feed to runoff of Jacks blossom booster, they’ll get it for two weeks, then MC1 and Boost, along with a shot of Dust.

Got the Situation Room half ass cleaned and sprayed down with peroxide, flipped timer and set AC, humidifier, and fans. Lights set , plants had roots out bottom of buckets, so bags should be too. GSCE and BB OG in room, KRs got the War Tent.

The music will only be in the Situation Room, the KR in the Tent will only have fan noise, so we will have some to compare to. This weeks tunes were mixed 80s rock.

On 8/27 2 of the 3 GSCX were topped the 3rd (also last to sprout) seems to be a little behind the other two so I decided to avoid additional stress and just opt for lst as she grows. The girls received a dose of cal mag in one watering this week, a dose of recharge in another,and today they received a dose of Bobby’s Blend Veg formula compost tea. I am still using the same 24 hour sound schedule using a mix of genres during the day and plant growth soundtracks and nature sounds at night.
