Been over 10 min I closed the lid to see what the RH was an it’s been at a standstill still wet so they are drying pretty slow right?

Open you yard every day for 15 minutes for like 2 weeks or 1 and you go to see magic lmaoooo

Is there a certain temp the curing process should be?

So are the 62% bovada pack’s needed if kept in jars? @BobbyDigital @Dr.ofSmokology @Hellraiser

i have those. if keeping in jars i would remove them once your set. at the same time my jars never stay full long enough to worry about it.

Ok might order some just in case trying to get thing’s right without using the perks yet got one plant jared will be starting on the other plant today. I tested rh of the jars 1 was 63.2%( bigger buds top of plant) 66%(smaller buds lower plant) so just going to burp. So those packs aren’t needed unless dried out?

to my understanding yes.

I see no need for boveda packs for bud storage (or drying and curing process) and don’t like what boveda does to buds long term - changes the taste, texture, and color (darker) somewhat. I close up my jars at the perfect humidity (58-62 RH) and a year later they are the same humidity as long as the jars are not opened.

I only use boveda packs for the community jars, that I leave out for family and friends, as they get opened many times a day and would get too dry pretty quick if I did not use boveda packs in them.

My storage jars (and grove bags) stay closed/sealed until it is time to smoke that jar or bag, at which time I transfer the buds to my community jars.
