Thanks Muc. Just rollin with the punches at this point. Cannot wait to retire and do me for the rest.
I see an empty chair. I will be there in a jif. Hold my seat!!
I’m getting better at it too
Nice roots!
I switched to Coco and have been struggling to find my way. With a little help from my friends, I am getting it dialed in.

DTC99 in Coco update
Hope I am not shooting myself in the foot, but I believe I got this.
@Borderryan22
What say you?
I transplanted last night. Popped her in a 7 gallon I had already buffered with Cal/Mag
I put her in the seedling tent while the flowering DTC99 finishes. Had to do a partial harvest on her, maybe another week.
Bangin!!! Looks really good man! I’m hellajelly!!! At this point, in that big of a vessel, don’t keep it soooooaked. You can almost do like soil the first week or 2 except not complete drought. More like dryish, but not totally. Give her a cup or so every couple days for the next week, maybe, just further than the leaf tips so roots do their thing. No need for runoff for a couple weeks, maybe. Keeping it drenched right now would most likely stunt her. Just don’t let it dry it all the way cuz it’s a pita to straighten back out.
Will do. The Padawan is becoming a Jedi. Haha!!! Loving the difference from day 5 to 10. After the transplant I watered her lightly with Cal/Mag and Mycos and Azos.
Thanks again for all your input and assistance.
I’m excited for you!! Coco can be real tricky at first, but after a grow or two it’s easy peasy.
You aint kiddin on the tricky. I know I will get it dialed in but after the perfect start, I transplanted and think I overwatered when I got her in the pot and set. The bottom 2 leaves, not cotys, completely turned brown and shriveled up and died and now even though she is growing, a few other leaves are brown at the edges. I think I burnt her with the first feeding when I transplanted, that and overwatering. I adapted to prison, pretty sure I can conquer a lil ol planty.
I will post some close up pics tonight and when you see them, if it looks like something you are aware of or have dealt with yourself, you can let me know.
Here is my girl looking rough
If you zoom in on the close up you can see the first set is dead but the cotys right below them at the soil level are still green.
I think I burnt the crap outta her with the first feeding after the transplant.
@Borderryan22 from your experience, what do you see?
@Olaf.ILGM
Can you buy 10 of one strain and get the 10 free of another strain for this 420 deal? and does the code I was given offer an additional discount at checkout?
The deal only applies to the same strain, so the 10 or 20 free seeds will be that same strain. And yes, if you have a discount code that can still be used!
Thanks Olaf!!
The Coco learning curve is flattening.
21 days DTC99 (Durban x Cindy 99)
Quick recap on growth since emerging
Looked great at first. roots were building and I transplanted
This is where the problem of overwatering started, that coupled with feeding full strength after the tranplant. Only 20 ml but burnt the crap out of her.
The rebound in coco is way quicker than soil. 4 days later and she is growing fast and healthy
Thank you to all who offered advice and especially @Borderryan22
And this is my last DTC99. I harvested the top 8 colas several weeks ago and have dried and cured and smoked. Tastes great, super smooth.
Then I was going to harvest the rest but I noticed she was building bud, lots of white pistils so I let her ride a week and then did another partial harvest. Now I am harvesting for the 3rd time the growth I left since she was so stunted early on. This is the lollipop area and I will maybe get another zip outta whats left.
There she goes!!! I’m glad it’s coming around! Nice and green! I’ll have my closet back up and running in a couple weeks.
