Bonjoyle's Continuing grow journal

Beautiful plants Growmie. I’m digging the training you do on them!!! I got into bonsai last year. Top pic is my first one and second pic is a crabapple tree that I created from the one in my backyard after the bonsai bug bit me.

assuming you saw my bonsai above in my thread? I love plants. I have been using bonsai techniques on a tree in my front yard for almost 15 years now. I will take a pic of it and post tonight when I get home. I am starting on creating some deadwood, revealing some of the heartwood and using lime sulfur and stain, I am going to create that white/red look I am sure you have seen. I got a woodworking tool set for whittling and it is perfect for messing with plants and trees. I just started a new shoot and am working it around the main to get the wonky branch structure the rest of the tree has.
I appreciate your praise on my training. I am very particular when it comes to my girlz. Although I always have a plan starting out, as you well know sometimes she says nope…not doin that. so I switch gears once she starts to really establish. At 6 weeks, She and I are on the same page as to how I am going to train.

Yeah I went through your journal and seen the bonsai pics. Cool tree Growmie :love_you_gesture: and :exploding_head::exploding_head: 15yrs of training is amazing. Hope my crabapple makes it that long. Seen the drawings also and that takes talent my friend. I’ve been wanting to do a cannabis bonsai but don’t have the room for fun projects right now.

Unfortunately I have no HVAC. Swamp cooler which is great when I need more humidity in the summer but my tent stays around 78º as that is as cool as the swamp can get the house when it is 100º outside. She is still gonna show out though. The smell is getting stronger every few days. Cant wait.!!!

Wow your swamp cooler operates better than my HVAC system. My tents usually run 81 to 84 daytime temps and 65 to 73 degrees at night in the later part of the summer.

Houston…we have ignition. Next up is Durban Thai x Cindy 99 from Mr Soul and Brothers Grimm here in Broomfield, CO.
