This is the first time I have grown plants outdoors, I started hardening them off about 2 weeks ago, they came back indoors a couple days it was cold and heavy winds. They had a few days of 4 to 6 hours outside for a few days. then had a few full day complete cloud cover all day. They have had fairly sunny days the last 2 days. Temps are finally good outdoors now so I am leaving them out. The other 3 are doing great. The Blue Dream Auto has been drooping for a few days and is now tacoing a bit or wilting. I just watered the entire pot completely through yesterday at 8am. 5 ml silica per gallon dechlorinated tap water 2800ml ph 5.81. 60% coco / 40% perlite, 1 lb of natures living soil medium strength grow dots and compost tea 3 weeks ago. I really dont think it is over watering. Maybe under watering? Does it need more food? Should I put it in the shade for a few days?
The blue dream has the blue mushroom swizzle stick,
These 3 pictures all today Day 24
The bottom 2 sets of leaves are starting to yellow now.

The heat has been absolutely brutal in some regions. Do you leave the bags directly on the ground? I’d elevate them a little, and maybe throw some cotton material or something similar on the tops of the soil.

I have those ac infinity watering bases. I’ll get them up on those. I’ll get some cover on the medium too. Thanks for the tips.

To see if they need watering, put your finger in the top 1 to 2 inches of growing medium and see if it’s damp. If it is then you don’t need to water.
When you do water, water the entire pot so the liquid comes out the bottom. Use a liquid fertilizer each time you water.
A 60/40 mix of coconut coir and perlite can be an issue outdoors in hot weather. The extra perlite means there is less water holding coconut coir and the plant can dry out faster. If it gets really hot, maybe water twice a day or stick your finger in the top of the soil twice a day to check it’s still damp.

I was hoping to just use water this round and no liquid nutrients. I am using grow dots as the nutrients. I saw on ILGM forums heavy rate application was giving people some burn. So I used medium rate 2 tsp per gallon of medium. Its a 7 gallon pot so I added 14 tsp of grow dots per plant. Thanks for the tips on heat and perlite. If I do another run outdoors next year I will back off on the perlite. Maybe 80/20 or 70/30. It does seem like the coco is still wet. Not even 1/4 of an inch down its all dark colored coco. The other 3 plants are doing great, only the blue dream is having some issues, leaves are all folded up and the bottom leaves are turning yellow now.

The blue dream looks about the same with folded up leaves, the bottom leaves are full yellow now. I havent watered it again. I did water the other 3 last night because its so hot outside. Now I am kind of wondering if the plant needs more nutrients. It has been in the shade the last 2 days. It could just be light and heat stress. We had 2 sunny days in a row when they folded up.

You could try fertilizing more and that should stop more leaves going yellow, assuming the yellow leaves are from the plant sucking out nutrients from the older leaves.
The yellow leaves could also be from too much heat or sun but the rest of the plant looks good and too much heat or sun will normally affect the entire plant, not just the oldest leaves.
If the other 3 plants are ok and this one keep doing funny things, it might just be a weaker plant that isn’t going to do as well as the others. Having said that, it looks reasonably good so maybe just monitor it and see how it goes over the next few weeks.
What’s the blue white mushroom looking thing.
Over watered and heat stress? Nat infestation? Runoff numbers?
