I went ahead and got the Aglex 800w. I’m planning to hang monday. Crossing my fingers it lasts. Build quality is really not bad at all.

Having their 800w I’m a bit skeptical with any of their claims. So mine doesn’t pull the full wattage, but close, however the ppdf chart is complete bs. At 8" away at near max I get about 1000 ppfd. and the spread isn’t super consistent especially at the outer areas. I’ve emailed them to too maybe if mine is defective and also the real ppfd chat. They said I’d be sent it when they are done at a trade show in Thailand. But don’t think it’s defective, in which case I’ll prob return it.
My Hyphotonflux Hpf4000 480w pulls that off at 18" but a 3x3 footprint vs the larger anglex. I wish I had bought another 480w before they sold out.
I currently have the AGLEX K1000 It’s the 100w and the PPFD chart is for a 2x3 online but that chart is close in my 2x2. Doing 100% at 12inches I get 1100ppfd center and drop to around 800 on sides. Maybe I will just get a second K1000 an daisy them together.
The reviews are good, so it could be my unit. Just wasn’t impressed if I’m getting close to my other lesser wattage light. It seemed it was much more powerful brightness wise outside the tent. Could barely squint in the room without it being to much, then in the tent i can look up at it.

Honestly idk I know this 100w light has been nothing short of impressive that’s why with dimension on the 240w I was thinking about it. But I can forgo 40w to save $130.
I’d take the 40w hit for that amount of savings for sure.

We’ll leave it to me to actually try that AND THEN post my results. I’ll try to blame it on the weed my wife and I smoked, cookies and cream. I sure am sitting here laughing.

I just went with the 500W viparspectra at $370. I thought about the 500w ac infinity at $460 but the par map was worse around the edges and much higher in the center in comparison.
I really wanted the evo 8 but after being let down by this promo I just went with the 500W and I’ll use supplemental lighting if needed.
Received the ks5000 today and it’s very high quality and bright as hell. I expect great things from it. The other viparspectra lights work really well and it fit my budget.
