@Growdoc knows best. Sifted the kief again with a proper screen. Removed about 40% leafy particles. Looks and smokes real nice now.

I decided to fire the wood stove since the grow area is not being used. Its been roaring since 10 am and only in the lower 50s in there. Geesh. It usually sweats me out of there.

This not growing weed business sucks. My electric bill is going to be nice, but the grow withdrawals are harsh.

Absolutely! I have one in my shop, two in my farm house and one in a garage, love them! I installed each in an hour and they cost me very little to run as they are an inverter type compressor, so it only pulls as hard as needed to hold temp. Can’t go wrong with them. Putting one in grow building lung room this summer.

Yes, you can get a diy ductless system with or without heat strips. They’re fairly easy to install, the compressor and lines are precharged and use quick connect fittings to connect condensing unit to air handler. The only downfall is you will usually have to coil the extra line somewhere.

If you know the length you will need, they after a couple different line lengths on som models. Fortunately, all mine have been mounted fairly high and needed the length sent.

Any basement growers have suggestions for routing exhaust out? New digs will have a basement grow, and don’t really have a window option to route the exhaust out.

Is there a furnace in the basement with an existing exhaust? Close dryer?

I grow in basement and don’t really have the need to exhaust outside. My last grow was originally designed to do this and it caused more problems than anything.
I’m unsure of exactly what you’re working with but exhausting outside of my lung room was best I was able to do.
