So I usually top all my autos but I’m trying to see what y’all think about doing it. I plan on topping her and when she recovers I’ll lay her down and let her sorta mainline. Last time I did it I had 8 lines and she did well. I’ve never let an auto just flower naturally,does it have an advantage? I read that topping hurts an auto because they don’t have time to recover ,any input anyone? I’m open to all and any suggestions

My uncle that caught the grow bug from me and him pushing it to the limit like everything else he does lmao. He even feeds em through PVC pipe that goes to the rootball and they’re the biggest plants I’ve ever seen,their even bigger now almost pushing past 7ft,I said to him hell nah man you’re tripping lol he’s moonshinin too haha can’t tell him nothing

If my autos are healthy and have 4 or 5 nodes by around 3 weeks I top them. I was in the white truffle grow off too. I had the accidental autos and topped them all some twice before realizing they were autos and they were monsters. I don’t find topping a healthy plant to be too stressful for an auto. There are other opinions to just let them be, but I treat them pretty much like photos. You just hope they don’t flower too early

I remember you and wow those were some monster plants for autos! Thx for the response I truly appreciate it, I will top her then today and follow what Ive always done. My goal is at least hitting a min of 3zips per . Do you notice a difference if you remove the bottom nodes or no?
