Thanks man, im just finishing up my hyperbaric oxygen therapy. It worked real good for me. Surgery is all but healed. Now i gotta get ready for planting time.
Im making some changes on my greenhouse again. Just new plastic and getting soil ready for in ground growing this year. Less plants less work too.

So good to hear that the surgery and therapy are working well! :+1: Good timing with spring plant prep! Yeah, the large-growing mj trees sure can blow up the greenhouse, in a good way, lol.

Getting ready, first day of spring yesterday. Im getting my soil mix together. Last one for awhile. I hope… Going in the ground, but my dirt really sucks here. So, im digging out the compacted clay/sand and putting in a more suitable mix with the oregon super soil.

Ill get some pictures of my process, but for now i got some bud porn. It is hump-day…

Emerald fire og week 7 of flower. Smells nice in here.

Hadn’t heard from you for minutes looks like nice buds growing there. How are ya?
Yeah!! The clay/ caliche soil around here sucks for sure. This whole area has that shit, from Paulden where you are to Dewey-Humbout south of me. Its harder than hell to dig and horrible to deal with when its wet. The bigger and deeper you can make those holes the better. I always mix some of that clay, not a lot though, back into my soil mix. It carries some good nutrients but, by itself, its too dense and too alkaline to grow anything. In my yard it starts at about 1.5-2ft down.

We were in San Diego last week. They were doing some remodeling at out Hotel. This is what they were using to get dressers up and over the 2nd floor railing. Home made fork lift.

Im doing good , just getting healed up. I am putting some of the clay/sand in my mix, not much like you said. That fire og is making some real nice buds. Should yield about a pound, maybe a bit more. Not bad for battling issues. Using that xoco and worm castings midway through was not the best of ideas. The mix is fine, i wasnt ready for inconsistant ph and feeding. Just different. I think i got it under controll now.
Heck of a fork lift, use what you got. Beats carring it, right.

Ive been dealing with these disability people. Its just a pain in the ass man. Im fighting them, but they want me off disability because of my age. I may be looking for a job here soon.

This is what i dug out and filled with used potting and leaves for the winter.

Now im digging those out and using that soil to mix in. The holes are 3 x3 x3. Big freakin holes! This is gonna be alot of soil. More than i was expecting fore sure. 3x3 gopher cages are going in first wrapped in chicken wire and weed barrier.

They will be raised bed on the top 12" so 2 ft deep 1ft raised bed.

Why the weed barrier

Good question, ill probably skip that part. I was gonna use it just because i have it. But ill save it for the top when im done. Still hoping to buy some gravel for my greenhouse floor. It gets muddy real bad.

Man alive, a 3x3x3 box doesnt seem that big until you gotta barrie it.

The only way to buy this stuff. Otherwise you pay to much.

I tore down my 10x12 shed thats been a chicken coop for the last 15yrs. Its been in the same spot all that time. It hadn’t been cleaned out in 10 yrs. The wood chips and hay mixed with chicken and duck poop and clay soil has been breaking down all that time. Im starting a new compost pile with it.
