I have quite a bit of burnt tips. And what looks to be like rust spots.
I could allow her to fill up with feed and lift her over a pot or something and allow her to drip out into the pan to get the numbers but I feel like that’s not gonna be accurate enough.
Sounds good @Dman1969 stay hydrated with this heat !!
My shut off is at the res and I have one in the tent to be able to run a “flush”. I will be able to get in there tonight and do that to see the numbers. I honestly think it was from having that ph swing that I didn’t catch with everything going on. For about a week now I ran it at 5.5 up to 5.8 just to help get back in range hopefully. She’s completely eating now as the res is just about empty. I think not adding the cal mag back in for this run is what made it seem like it got worse.
When you run that gallon through it ain’t gonna be the exact numbers but we will have an idea what the EC is. And you ain’t really flushing doin the gallon
This is what the feed is looking like in order as well.
Starting water 0.43mS
Seachem prime - 8 drops for 4 gallons
Silica - 5ml per gallon
Calmag - I put 10ml ( I’ll explain down )
Part A 45ml
Part B 45ml
Rhizotonic - 30ml
Cannazyme - 38ml
So for the calmag I originally went back to 5ml per gallon. Made the feed got all the way to putting in part B and boom cloudy. I then made a new batch same way but put calmag in very last. Boom cloudy. So I thought maybe lower the calmag down to about 2.5 per gallon of calmag put it in first. Got to putting part B in and it almost looked like it was trying to turn cloudy but it kept clear and I was able to make a batch.
Now for pulling this net up through the plant to get it out is going to be an absolute nightmare @Dman1969
That’s gotta suck. Kinda why I don’t scrog. I had shutoffs at each autopot. I shut that pot off and pick it up and caddy corner it on the tray. Suck the water out and then pour the gallon in the pot till you get some runoff. Let it run then catch it at the end. You don’t want any of the first bit of runoff.
I mean I can certainly shut down the entire thing because I gotta clean out the res anyway as that’s what I do every filling so I could shop vac out the best I can of whatever is in there and see if I can get it propped up on the plant stand I have inside the auto tray and lift and lower the net with the plant
Ain’t as bad as I thought but you probably should flush to get the ph back inline. Make sure to use calmag if you flush. yucca if you have any will help flush the salts
Will I get away with not flushing because if I end up having to flush isn’t that like 3-5x the pot ? I most likely won’t have enough nutrients to do it if I gotta put nutrients through. And calmag is just about done almost. I planned on getting a new supply after this run as it should hold me off.
If I do gotta flush it’ll probably just be chopped down and everything put away for awhile
You can ride it out it ain’t the end of the world. Go in with a lower ph to get her down don’t stop calmag and lower your Ec a lil. If you’re giving rizo stop.
I’ll let her ride it out and pray for the best what ph you think I should keep her at. This will be the last batch with the riz ! Do you still say go for the flip in the 8th ?
I would try to keep at 5.8 the sweet spot but late flower max it 6.2 -7 (some ppl go to 9) it makes colors explode! But don’t do anything for the buzz but it don’t hurt it either! You’re gonna have to go in at probably 5.2 to pull your number down. But your gonna have to play with that
You did use only 5.8 PHed water to do the test right?
