Autos Adventurous Grows

Caution…unsolicited Autopot advise coming…

That little blue piece of “filter” does nothing to filter however it does do a great job of harboring bacteria. Imo, remove and toss it.

Alrighty so we did a thing. I got them moved over into their final home. Me and the lady decided to go away in a few weeks so I figured go ahead and get them ready for the auto pot.

Went in with their first feed in their new home. They took 3 liters each and got back 20% run off for each.

I have the auto pots tucked in the back and using the original pots I had before to catch the run off numbers for now to make it easier.

In and out numbers
Ph in 5.8
Ph out 5.9
mS in 1.40
mS out 1.24 plant 1 and 1.22 plant 2

Got them fed up today this way I was able to get back on track with the 1 a day feeds and not have to keep feeding at 11 at night. I had a feeling the numbers were gonna be a little different with getting a feed after 12 hours. Nothing crazy, gonna say hopefully by next feed the numbers will be back to how they were with going the 24 hrs between waterings now.

Numbers today

Ph in - 5.8
Ph out - plant 1, 6.0 and plant 2, 6.1
mS in 1.39
mS out 1.20 for both

Different run off volume I’d imagine?

She’s saying everything is the same. That I would put in even the amount of water. The only thing I can think of is maybe she’s watering a hell of a lot slower then I am and saturating more of the medium ? But she said she put in 1 liter to each plant and got back roughly half a cup which would be just under 20% run off. that’s roughly what I would get back but a little more closer to the 1 cup which would be just over 20% run off

I don’t believe speed of watering matters as much as coverage. Most of my feeds take place in 1-2 minute intervals, it will vary day to day anyway but watch trending directions. Can be an indicator to make change

I’ll go in and feed tomorrow same numbers same amount and get the proper run off numbers back. I just feel like because she got under 20% run off that’s what making her numbers different from mine ? Because I’m putting in a little more this way I get that 20% run off and allowing the salts from last feed drain out and replaced with the new feed.

Plants look extremely happy even with the training going on. I’m just in a panic now because I don’t want another fail this close to the last one :sob:

Your numbers are low enough not to worry about burning. There are a lot of possibilities that contribute to the outcome of run off numbers. You are in a very safe range. Watch trends. If demand grows fast you could see some light deficiency but that’s easily remedied. You are doing good.
