So I know @Low and and I already have a lot growin on right now but I got bored and I’ve been lurking on @TheAbu95 journal and he really inspired me to drop some beans. So on June 29th I dropped an iced skunk by canuk and a random zoap that we got with an Amazon purchase.
Unfortunately the iced skunk failed me yet again. So now 2 didn’t germinate and 1 immediately hermied as soon as we switched to 12/12. So bummed! Anyways on July 4th Zoap broke surface.
Since I had a lucky contender I sanitized the 2x2 with bleach and got out all the nasty DE that was caked in there from the quarantine clone.
Was a little surprised to find this guy chillin in there. Kinda felt bad that I had to kill it. (Oh well c’est la vie) I then sprayed the tent with neem oil and fungicide and closed it up.
Today (July 14th) I broke out a block of coco and hydrated it. I tried to aim for a 80/20 blend and did a small layer of perlite on the bottom of the bag. I really tried to go light with it since I will be hand watering her.
Normally in this stage I would have them in a solo cup until root bound pretty much but instead due to environmental conditions of the 4x4 I decided to transplant it into its forever pot. Plus I’m not hydrating coco just for a solo up! Lol
Ppfd is close enough. Got a little annoyed trying to get the light dialed in since the board is pretty much on the ceiling. I got tired of going up and down haha planning on raising ppfd after recovery.
This grow will be all fun! No time lines. No taking others into consideration on when or how to do things (sorry low) This grow, my main goals are focusing on defoliation and tucking. Especially defoliation. I just want to improve on technique and I really miss having my own little space. While this journal is more for me to keep track of the grow anyone and everyone is welcome to join in on the fun!
