Anyone have any personal experience with this

Yes I have it, I can no longer smoke I can handle small tastes of the edables I make but if I am not careful it’s 4 or 5 hours in the bathroom feeling like I am going to die

I have only heard of it labeled a couple years ago but I have not been able to take more than a hit or two every 6 months or so .it’s not just how much at once it’s also how often if I take a hit or two today I would be ok three or four hits and I might be in trouble but if I take one or two today and then one or two tomorrow I am in bad shape. I don’t think my friends believed me until about two years ago when I ate too much of a brownie

Not strain specific all weed has same affect on me @kw_Bat .it’s not propaganda @MattyBear . You will stop enjoying the buzz long before you get to the point where you start throwing up @Screwauger

That sounds like an awful syndrome to have then. I can’t get high enough from smoking flower to get me geeked out anymore, but I still love smoking weed :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::v:

Shut The Front Door @Gardenguy I guess this is what I hoped I would not read in this thread. THat sends chills down my spine. I turned down chantix and wellbutrin when I quit smoking because I was so fearful it would some how make me not enjoy my weed. This is downright sobering not to mention sad, sorry Man.

@Screwauger I am very sure that most people will never have a problem smoking weed . I know of one other person personally who had a problem and after a sabbatical was able to start smoking again a little at a time . I was able to smoke again after a few years and went balls to the wall for about a week then it was all over for me. That was over twenty years ago

I agree Oldguy, first smoked at 16 (50 years ago) and continued off and on since and never heard of such. Another good reason to be growing my own

Agreed. I took my first toke in 1975. Since that day, the times I was out of weed can be counted on two hands. I’ve been a chronic daily smoker since that first toke and though I am sure I don’t ingest as much as many, I easily suck down a 1/4 ounce a day now that I have jars on the shelf. My ex wife, unbeknownst to me, kept a log for out 15 yrs married and she stated that on average, I smoked every 2 hours or became edgy. That’s about right. If I should start to vomit as a result, I’m gonna need a big bucket to carry around (j/k no attempt to make light of the matter).

That’s funny that you posted that. Because my girlfriend would get sick after smoking, but then we found out only with certain strain would get sick. That’s wild.

I don’t have a personal experience with someone getting sick. But, I am wondering if the popularity of extracts( Rosen, etc.) has been a force in the syndrome taking place.
