I add the gypsum for calcium when I get the spots. I rarely see them but that solves them. The Excalibur 9 is designed to supply micros and macros for FL 9 mo. season.
The dessert roses get it as well in January after I cut and shape it. I cut caudex and repot every 2 yrs.

These flowers been blooming these past few days. I always cut the tops off the flowers so the bee’s don’t get trapped in there when they close up. We have to take care of the bees. There so intelligent, those little guys.

Yup. Let the sun straighten it out. I have to rotate a couple times a year to follow the sun. I dont put the stick that close as to avoid any root damage.
My husband bought me three tiny cactus 10 years ago a least they were about 2 inches big I have no idea what they are if they should be transplanted I feed them tea and gelatine now and again.

Not a mytrillocactus cristata or patchanoi TPC by glochids and color. Hope you just enjoy whatever it is. If your son was a collector - It reminds me of my TBMC with the dehydration/light burns, smooth texture and occasional glochids. Each one is unique
This Barrel cactus needs repotted, not lookin forward to it. It’s very heavy. I wrap a old carpet around it and put on welder gloves and hope for the best. I plan on doing it this week.
