i’d make sure to talk to @dbrn32 before ordering those… they look too good to be true. but the prices will come down on lighting as more and more people buy and there is lots of competition for the lighting market.

I’m a bit stuck for options being in the UK but will definitely be waiting on advice from our trusty light guru.

i have been real impressed with dbrn from the very first day i got here. he knows his stuff, is real good at the technical aspect(i’m a retired eng. myself), and also is very good at coming up with creative ideas to solve or identify problems. just need to give him parameters and guidelines and he will come up with an answer. i’m sure he will have something for you even if ur in UK.

Those are all knock off boards. Some of the vendors use same LEDs, others use lower performing LEDs to cut down on cost. They will all probably work fine and be nice lights though, just make sure you research and get from a reputable vendor.

Even the first company I sent pic of @dbrn32? They looked legit. Yeah @monkman @Ricwil82 is an engineer so was open to the idea of building my own (or at least him doing) but it’s finding the stuff.

Anyway lil update this morning, one of the WW had a tail out so dropped that one into soil, still no sign of 3rd MW reaching for the light but I’m impressed at how quickly they’ve taken off all in all, just this last little WW needs to crack

Strips and quantum boards are pretty much the same thing. Some of the strips are better than others, but Samsung f-series gen3 is same exact LEDs that were on first generation quantum boards. The h-influx strips are kinda similar to what’s in the newer boards. I don’t really keep up with what that particular place is doing because it’s out of our market, but he has good reputation and is sourcing the same stuff we are. I just mentioned because he’s in your area and sells all the components.
For a 4x4 you’re looking for like 500-600 watts worth of that stuff. Qb’s, strips, higher cobs are going to get you similar par levels in your space.

So fed the big girls tonight only half strength, addd in extra PK as per feeding schedule advice. 2 of the girls PPM’s are still a lil higher than what’s going in, may flush them in a couple of days again, the other two have developed dramatically since the flush 
Unfortunately Iv managed to knock the head off one of my Maui Waui seedlings 
so only 1 through soil atm. Waiting on 1 MW and 1WW to break the soil.
My other WW seed still hasn’t cracked, wondering if I should drop it back in water and hydrogen peroxide?
Gonna drop 1 more MW seed and a cheese I think.

I have 5 of the 288 3000k boards and love them. Always pull sense buds and great growth. First grow was about 1.3 grams per watt.
