An inexperienced and uninformed first attempt at growing

@BobbyDigital yeah that one was one of the taller and fuller ones before I fried it, and I will be luck if it makes it through, it was very rough on them. But I am trying to baby and watch over them to the best of my ability. I have to remind my self to not just sit and watch them lol.

It happens to all of us my friend i didnt have a clue on what to do when i first started! And the worst part is i had started with autoflowers!! It was hard but i learned and made beautiful plants. My suggestion later on would be to get a ph and ppm meter to decide how much nutrients to put in your water and what the ph of your water is. That will help you so much during your grow. I have faith that theyll pull through dont get discouraged and give up. Its a process that eventually will be rewarding i promise

Does anyone know why the these are turning kinda yellow? It’s the older growth with new growth on top of it, is the older growth just too damaged and needs to be trimmed?

Probably getting wet. Chop it off.

Another trick that can be done when taking photos under a grow light.

Match the temperature setting on the camera to what temperature color the light is.

For example. If your light is 3500k, then set your camera to 3500k and the photo will turn out white balanced. This will make a more realistic photo.
. Cheers

Enjoy

You are doing good here. I will offer a little advise having used that same light. Right now. there really is no need for it. You could do as well using just a 42w cfl light. I looked up. I have used a light similar to this to veg with before and it worked well. Good for about the first 2 weeks since the plants are small and don’t need much light. It is budget friendly too and cost a lot less than running that 600 light. Solo cups or small nursery bags are great for starting too. I use nursery bags since it makes moving to a bigger pot easier. they are cheap as well. I will be tagging a long for this. :+1:

I really appreciate all the advice from everyone, thank you all who have interacted with this post and journey with me. Just a minor update I did find another seed and got that little guy started on his germination trip. Hopefully it germinates wish me luck!

Better photos we can tell more about the plants..

They are looking great.

From here they do not appear to show stress any more. You are in the correct direction.
