I have been using AN since i started this journey and i learn some new stuff as ive gotten further into different grow styles. YET i still habe questions on the daily. Figured making a room for all growers that use or have experiance with AN.

Im an AN user myself, used in both soil and ebb and flo. I use the three part base ph perfect and a few additives, havent used a ph meter or ec pen since i swapped from general hydroponics. I just follow the feeding charts and for the most part we produce qaulity smoke.

Ive been to sketched to not check ph when feeding because i know there is a sequence to using them for the PH perfect to actually work but never really know what that sequence is lol i use the grow micro bloom voodoo b52 bud candy overdrive thats about as far as my AN knowledge goes. Im currently using it with the tray2gro systems with a reservoir. Ill put some pics in shortly.

I always mix micro first stir and let sit a minute, then grow stir and let sit a minute, then bloom. I follow the charts and never had any lockouts or deficiencies, been using about two years now and love it. I like general hydroponics also, but my work requires alot of travel and its easier on my wife when im away.

Yep sounds kinda like my situation my work eats up alot of my time so i needed a system that could really rock out without to much headache. This is my setup the mother is in the 2x4 i just clip clones from her every few weeks then i send her into flower and start a new mother with one of her clones. I clipped 12 left them in veg for 2 weeks amd get rooted and on there way then they go up under the cl9nes before them that are in the final week or so of flower. Rinse and repeat.

I use AN for my outdoor grows in soil. Found I can get away with about 1/2 strength on the A & B and only using every other time I water. Never have checked the PH (I use sensi ph perfect).

Nice looking plants, and nice mother plant. I bit the bullet last year and purchased an aircube system and love it, but i need another tent so i can start keeping mother plants. I been running into some plants wanting to finish way ahead or behind others, and some wanting more or less nutrients, and i figure if i run clones from the same mother everthing should finish pretty much around the same time and need the same amount of nutes.

Believe it or not i can really tell a difference in my branches. Alot less breaking of stems and pulling away from main branch when training, and not posative, but im pretty sure my flowers have been more dense, but that could also be strain and genetics

See i dont rrain anymore anything gets crazy i chop it off dont care where it is but if its in the way it gets clipped lol with having a healthy chunky mother there is always more to raise up so i drop like 10 to 12 at a time pick the best looking 8 or 9 and let them rip best part is the guess work is almost nothing because you just mix up and drop the exact same mixture for mother and for clones. So it helps with all that. Ive wanted to try the aircube system.

GM forum for several months now. There’s no shortage of people who utilize Advanced Nutrients it’s good to see that you started a thread dedicated specifically to advance Nutrients. Always a smart idea.
I’ve used Advanced Nutrients for many years. It’s hands down a wonderful line of high-end nutrients in my opinion that eliminates a factor that is so important to growers and that’s, The need to adjust the PH
pH is in the top three most common problems that beginners struggle with in their early grows. pH imbalance can lead to small yields, unhealthy plants, and yes the devastating death of your grow if not dialed in properly. It’s the heart of your grow. I’ve already seen just on this form thread where people adjust their pH utilizing advancements.
Let me first say this NEVER ADJUST UP OR DOWN YOUR PH WHEN USING ADVANCED NUTRIENTS
As most of you know Advanced Nutrients uses a chelation process in their micro grow and Bloom that eliminates the need to check your pH and or adjust it. If utilizing the proper dose, the nutrients will do their job by adjusting the pH through chelation.
Without getting into the scientific aspect of chelation in layman’s terms, chelation allows nutrient uptake in your soil from pH levels 4.0 all the way up to 10.0
An example would be
I just fed my plants Advanced Nutrients and my pH on my runoff is is 5.1 and I’m in Happy frog soil. Should I adjust my pH? Are my plants getting the proper nutrients?
The answer is
NO, do not adjust your pH !
YES, your plant is getting all the nutrients that it needs at your 5.1 pH due to the chelation process.
Later when I get a chance I’ll get into what exactly accumulation is what it does but for now just understand if you’ve got a problem with your plants and you’re utilizing Advanced Nutrients pH perfect the problem is not your pH
Okay so that’s my first tip to users utilizing Advanced Nutrients let’s say it one more time. Never adjust your pH it can make matters worse.
If you know me you know I stand behind advanced nutrients and I’m not affiliated with them in any way yet you would almost think I work for them due to the fact of my high support for their products but you have to be careful.
Advanced Nutrients is still a business and they still sell tons of additives with pretty names and fancy attractive marketing labels pictures etc. be careful. A lot of these products are fantastic but also high priced and can be utilized buy different brands and get the same and sometimes better results.
Let me give you an example
Advanced Nutrients rhino skin. Rhino skin is potassium silicate. It’s strengthens stems and also can promote trichome production. basically, it’s silica
The moral to this story
I use a lesser name brand silica and get three times more product for half the price and it does the exact same thing and yes on your additives you can use other brands and still not effect in a negative aspect the pH perfect system of Advanced Nutrients. In layman’s terms it will not affect your pH and/or need to adjust.

Just let Advanced Nutrients work for you. It will do its job. The biggest problem with users of Advanced Nutrients are overthinking & complicating the process

And this is exactly why i tagged you ive been on the forum with my back to the basics page and youve been mentioned a few times anf its always in regards to AN so you were a key factor to starting this. I was always worried my PH wouldnt be right i was under the impression that it had to be mixed in the correct order for the ph perfect to actually work is that legit or false rumor?

Yes it’s true that mixing in order is important. If you accidentally mixed out of order one or two times it’s not going to cause much but there’s a reason for mixing in order and the order is…
Silica (always first)
Calcium magnesium aka calmag
Micro
Grow
Bloom
Then Anything else with a NPK value
Then any non NPK additives
Last but not least YUCCA (always last)
And that is your proper mixing order
For the record, mixing out of order is not going to affect the pH perfect however it will affect how the nutrients are properly mixed. Silica breaks down into the water cells and must be done first etc. in short, mixing is important to get the maximization of your nutrients
