The little engine that could! GO,GO
Listen bright she don’t know the pros I have dealing with her. She’s gonna have that Honda civic laptop going soon .
I really appreciate all of yall, best forum and help out there !
Fed yesterday 50ml of veg week 1. Haven’t seen much of a difference this morning besides her looking dried out again. Went ahead and gave her a few spritz to get some moisture in her medium. And other 50ml will be fed tonight once I get home.
Forgot regular pictures so I took some screenshots off the camera
Looks to be like we’re making some good corrections here.
The bottom leaves I think are just stuck in the droop (kidding) but she does seem to be making a slight turn around as time passes
I am also gonna fill the pot up with more coco today around 3:30ish to rid of most of the leggy growth. I’m gonna drop the light to around 18inches from the plant instead of 24inches. Intensity should I leave it at 80% even though I’m gonna go ahead and move the light a little closer. Or beings that it’s only 100w I should be okay to leave intensity at 80 and a height of 18inches ?
Definitely fill more coco and drop the light and see how she responds. I hoping she’s just trying to get her roots going
Filled her up with more coco, dropped the light down some and we shall see how she responds now. I’m hoping she turns completely around soon.
Im thinking she will I would say give her another ring of food since you added more coco and let her do her thing
Another 50ml going in now
Updated the pictures of about 5 mins ago, still droopy and the three fingered leaves started to curl not bad but definitely started to curl. Figured to much light so I raised it about 1-2 inches. Left the intensity at 80%.
At this point she should definitely be dry at root level beings she’s been only getting 50ml a day. Within 10 hours of being fed the top layer is dry. Maybe now her problem is she wants more ? And the second set of fingered leaves are starting to come in as well. Pictures of the little one below
I would think that 50 mils a day is decent for a little seedling, but if it’s dry before the next watering then you might add a little more to keep from dying too much. Maybe take a slurry test to see if you have some buildup from excessive drying. She does look like she’s not taking up nutes.
I’ll have to do a slurry test once I get home, I was also thinking about taking her out of the 5 gallon and drop her into a cup or a pot smaller allow her to grow some get started and then move her back to her home to finish off. I’m on the fences with this one. They said she was gonna give me a run for my money and they were not kidding.
Also not sure if a lot of this matters but I do remember on the big wreck I was doing I ended up having to drop the humidity for her to start progressing a lot. On the picture below it says for flowering but big wreck did also. I dropped it to around 40-50% and she took off. Wondering if it’s going to be the same case for this one at this point. Because she looks way behind.
I would suggest keeping the RH above 50% until you start building buds(week 3ish of true flower). What’s the EC/PPM of your feed? I’m betting there is an uptake issue somewhere.
I just talked with customer support of where I got the seeds from and they had me go through a whole rundown with them. They ruled it as an unhealthy seed. They said the germination process and how long it took is a clear sign it was a dud. Soo I’m gonna push it a little longer and see what we can do with her.
Ppm is 550
Ph is 6.2
I suppose it could be a weak seed, but I’d still bet there’s an uptake issue somewhere given the appearance. Those input numbers are good so it seems shes not utilizing what your putting in.
I mean it does lack chlorophyll from what the description says but I’m really not sure with this one. I’m gonna push her a little bit longer and if anything I have two more seeds of that kind
Alright guys so beings it wants moisture rich and nutrient rich medium she’s getting pushed hard. Now that I know there’s a good possibility she doesn’t make it out of this I’m gonna push this one pretty hard and see where it takes us. So from here on out I hope she’s ready . Although I can say from yesterday when she got fed until drip she looks pretty different.
They she is!
