Oh, lovely
We can get by on PH first, then we’ll do a partial feed if the EC meter isn’t here. We don’t want them starving even for a day. PH is far more important than EC right now.
The lighter is just new growth, a good thing, the green will darken up after photosynthesis catches up.
It almost looks like the tip of it is losing color. I’m only saying this because I’m constantly looking over the plant and haven’t seen this. Just caught it today. I’m sorry I’m gonna be bugging until these numbers are numbering in the right sense
I will be up at 4am to check and see if the pen got here. If it did I will be starting to put water through it and get the reading asap. If it’s not here at 4am I will be awake at 5am for work anyway so hopefully it’ll be here by then. If not I don’t have to be in until 8am so I’ll be able to push until 7:15 and then I have to get ready to head out.
Moral of the story if it’s here before I have to go in numbers and pictures will be posted. If numbers are in order I’ll go ahead and give a feed like @Low said of 800 ph’d to 5.8-6.0. My lights go out at 9am so that will be within the 2-3hr range before lights out. My lights turn back on at 3pm, I get home at about 5pm so I’ll be within the 2-3 hour mark of lights on unfortunately. I won’t be able to get it within the 1 hour mark for lights on unless I get done early which is rare working in restoration.
You don’t have the tracking to see when they said it will arrive
I saw that but I don’t get excited over one leaf, when there’s a pattern there’s a problem, but don’t sweat one leaf.
I have it being shipped to a store pickup hoping it would be quicker. Other option was waiting 15 days
Keep in mind pH can rise without feed as well. Going in with a feed at 5.5-5.8 and appropriate ppms can help regulate the medium pH, likely over multiple feeds. The organic nature of your nutrients may complicate this. Coco likes salt based/synthetic. Uptake is going to be limited because the microbes included in your feed aren’t going to stick around long enough to process those nutrients. Leading to deficiencies. Because you are in coco- you are feeding frequently, there isn’t time for consumption/processing as the nutrients are consistently moving with the feeds.
I’ve had a great grow last run going the same process and only ran into nanners towards the end.. just not sure why this go around numbers are jumping in all different directions. And can’t catch control of it now. Ppm in the run off now is around 300. The ph just won’t drop. I figured out how to factory reset my ph pen got it completely clean recalibrated and gave it another go with putting some in to see if the numbers changed. Now the run off is down to 6.8 instead of between 7.0-7.3
I believe @Growdoc had a pH issue and feeding accordingly eventually sorted it out… I think. Sorry guys, I’ll admit I haven’t read the whole topic.. I’m freaking exhausted but I’m trying.. skimming for key info
Dead on Brother, I had mentioned you helping me when it happened, more feeding and higher EC brought them right around.
I do believe he is going to have to change nutes to completely fix this, then feed correct nutes at 1.8 EC and 5.8 ph and monitor runoff.
Got called in last night to a huge fire loss around 2am. Pen ended up coming at 5am this morning. Girl went out to grab it this way it wasn’t sitting out in the shit weather we have this week.
Just got done hit Home Depot picked up a watering can this way I know I’m watering nice and evenly and not to fast. Also picked up some distilled water to be able to program this pen with no issues.
Should be home in the next 5 mins and then we’ll be able to get it programmed get the ph number and go from there.. let’s pray it was just my ph pen being thrown off and I’m not truly sitting at 6.8 in run off. If I am I’m just gonna have to flush some feed through it and hope that it will eventually correct itself. If not we’ll see where it takes us and might just say the hell with it and throw in a few autos for the time being.
Yall won’t believe me but my pen last night must have been correct because my Ph is sitting at 6.7 even with the new pen
Measure twice cut once. Now you know you need to get the PH down and balanced than work on the food
All I can think of at this point is drowning this thing. I done put about 15 gallons through already and nothing is changing. I even tried watering in a cup letting it sit 10 mins until I got through a full 5 gallons nothing changed.
Tried just pouring a gallon in fast waiting 10 mins and then did it again checked the run off and nothing changed.. at this point I feel like it’s only going to change is if I drop the ph of water going in to around 5 and hoping then my run off would be a lot lower but I don’t think that’s the best option correct ?
What are the ppms in the run off?
Also you don’t have to wait during a flush.
Run off is sitting around the 300-350ppm mark roughly. The ppm pen is definitely going and I’m still waiting to know when the other one will be ready for pick up. Just put 3 more gallons through here are the numbers now
Awesome, almost there!
