Been quite a few years since I’ve grown my own, but I figured since MN finally legalized cannabis I’d give it a go. Strain is straight up Afghani #1 100% indica and it’s the strain I first was introduced to as a grower. I figured why not get started with what I’m most familiar with. Started 5 seeds and only one germinated, but she’s a beast. Already given her the name Large Marge. Attached are some photos and I will be updating every couple days. I use mainly the GH trio with a splash of some other goodies.
@AfgVet@OGIncognito I’m no pro by any means, but I’ve done a few harvests of different strains. Set up is pretty much Diy and quite simple. This is by far the fastest fat plant I’ve ever had. I know the strain is squatty and thick, but good ole Marge here seems to be ahead of the curve.
@Myfriendis410 there’s a 10gallon reservoir under the table that it drains back to and recirculates nutes every couple hours. I feed for 15mins every 2 hours while light is on. Got a couple of air stones sitting in res that kick on once an hour for 15mins.
Couple more days have went by. Day 18 in tent. Photos look a little sloppy cuz I just did some more LST to try and fill out my 4x4 tents as much as possible before I let her go vertical and add the 2nd stage of netting.
More than likely taking clones in a couple of weeks and then we’re off to flower.
@Hashtonbutcher I use an 8 bulb T5 fixture for veg. She’s just one lonely plant in my tent as my other seeds didn’t germinate. I plan on keeping her in veg for a few more weeks and doing a bunch of LST to try and fill my 4x4. I’m excited for flower as I haven’t grown in years and I just purchased my first LED. I picked up a Scorpion Diablo X. I’m hoping it performs as well as the reviews I’ve read.
