I’m starting a coultivation of cannabis light in aerophonics system.
I’m worried about the THC level because I need to keep it under 0,50%. I’m of course using the right genetics to start with.
Many people told me using aerophonics system compromise the THC control level.
Have you got any suggestions about?
Do you think I can manage it?

I don’t really think growing method will change the potency. That’s mostly genetics. Although a well taken care of plant would likely be at the higher end of the genetics range versus a plant that has struggled. But maybe someone here can provide more details one way or another.
i just want to check. you are hoping for 1/2 of 1% THC content? idk how you will manage a specific potency, but that is a relatively low potency. You will certainly have to harvest early by nearly everyones standards. The problem is see is that your yield will suffer because as the flowers put on weight THC content also increases. so harvest early for low potency buds will also yield you small buds
Well, I come from Italy where authorities allow cannabis light cultivations only using the strains in the list approved by European Union.
All the 64 genetics of this list have a THC level very low. I’m starting to produce in aeroponics because I want to use an efficient system. Many growers in Italy are telling me I can’t obtain a usefull harvest using aeroponics because the THC level will rise over the limit allowed of 0,50%.
I want to try anyway and need yours tips to reach my aim.

@Skilgannon is it legal to create concentrates from flower? also you could do a dilute alcohol wash of the flower and discard the extra thc. but how does the government expect you to keep the thc low? that seems like a difficult legal environment, almost more difficult in some ways than where its illegal to grow at all. idk how to help.
