I’ve previously done two successful indoor grows, 4 plants each time, in coco-coir, with auto-flowering strains.
Now I’m growing a single feminized plant (“Pure Indica”) that a friend gave me in early veg stage, in a 5-gallon fabric pot, growing it outdoors, and in soil (Coast of Maine “soil for acid-loving plants”) rather than coco-coir.
I found a spot on the porch roof of my house, which gets about 9-10 hours of direct sunlight (in early August)
There are so many articles on this web site that I can’t easily find what I’m looing for: mainly a guide for how often to water, and how often and how much to fertilize. I have lots of GH nutes left over which I plan on using.
Can someone point me to relevant articles? Thanks

With soil, cannabis prefers a drought/drench cycle. For her size and in a 5 gallon, you may be ok with once a week. It can be easy to gauge when to water by using the weight of the bag. Again, in a 5 gallon, you have some time before it dries. Coast of Maine soil should last you between 4-6 weeks with plain watering.
Nute-wise, it depends on the brand, more or less. I use Jacks, and just switched back to soil after 4 years of coco, and when my soil is depleted, I’ll be feeding every watering. Others, for example Fox Farms liquid trio, is only once a week, between waterings. You’ll want to start checking ppms, though, around the 4 week mark from fresh soil.
Also, keep in mind, when you do water and feed, soil prefers the pH between 6.2-6.8. not lower like coco

Do you mean PPM’s of the runoff water, or of the feeding solution?

As mentioned water to run off and let the pot dry back out. Could be 3 or 4 days water again . Pick the pot up you will know when it’s dry? Good luck
