Did a trichomes inspection earlier, but Microscope app wasn’t playing nice, so didn’t get a lot of pictures. Trichomes are mostly clear, with a few sporadic cloudy ones. Get some better closeups after I get the app squared away.

I’m thinking about three more weeks. Do you scope several places top to bottom and edges? Be sure to check all over as you get closer and get a visual average estimate of the whole. I tend to ignore the top mass especially close to the light. They tend to mature a little sooner and the ones that are closer to the light sometimes get premature ambers from I believe the higher heat.

I’m thinking it’s a bit early to cut the nutrients off isn’t it? Especially in coco. Bugbee’s current opinion on cutting nutrients, final flushing, and 48 hours of darkness is that the research data from testing these long held beliefs is they’re all BS. Plants need energy to continue their processes and I think cutting it too soon would slow down trich maturation. This is a hunch but I don’t know that for sure. It would be a great question for the veterans.

@OverallQuill80 - 10-4, Thanks…went ahead and added nutrients to the reservoir. The plant probably got a couple days of light nutrients due to adding 3L of water only Friday (still had about 1 1/2L of Jacks treated water in the reservoir when added). Last night mixed up another gallon of Jacks water and dumped it in. Im gonna use your advice and keep pumping nutes in until the chop.

Sounds like a good plan. My main concern was that you were pulling the nutes way too early even if you were committed to running clean water for the final two weeks. I think you honestly have at least three based on the timeline from the flip according to your previous posts and the fact that eight weeks flowering is pretty much the minimum time for almost every strain in existence.

Looks awesome. I can see you wet trimmed so you don’t urgently need the trim bowl back. I had to check my calendar after reading to see how many days for each of mine. 85 days for Deliziosa and 104 days for Banana Split. You mentioned previously you plan to run something from the tropical mix pack. Banana Split is my new favorite of all the plants I’ve grown so far and I highly recommend it. Deliziosa delivers on the buzz but tastes unremarkable considering its name.

Not an earth shattering yield at 2.2 but I’ll take it. Pretty potent, but a little harsh right now.

@OverallQuill80 So, I’m thinking I should have bagged the smaller buds sooner, and they may have dried a little more than I wanted prior to bagging. Using the moisture probe, the smaller buds were around 10-11% by day 3 of drying, but the 2 largest buds were still at 23-25%. Instead of pulling the smaller buds, I just moved the larger buds around to give them the best airflow and pulled everything once the largest buds hit 10%. Once in the grove bag, they were reading about 58% RH so I dropped a couple Boveda bags in and it is sitting about 60% now. Had kicked around the idea of setting the tent RH back up to 62% and cracking the bag open here and there, but not sure if that would be a mistake. Right now it is at about 63* and 57%… I took a peak at Newt’s, Bunger and your journals to get a few tips on my grow, trim and cure, which are quite helpful. All in all, very happy with this one, and keep learning and getting better with each grow. Hopefully I can get some time this weekend to do some tent makeover.

@OverallQuill80 , @Bunger64, @4204life, @PhatPat, @Nicky, @Newt, @Graysin and everyone else who have given help and support. Thank You! Being a rookie with only 3 grows so far, I attribute the success of all 3 with the guidance I am getting here. Again Thank You

Time you probably don’t have is the only problem I see with the drying process. What I mean is that the uneven drying is remedied by putting into a closed container to sweat for a couple hours. It looks like you have been doing that and just have the same problem I did in having time to do that back and forth between drying and sweating on its schedule. I think the samples from the last two were finished well so I think this batch will be fine.

You can also use the smaller ones for edibles or just infused oil tinctures (much quicker than gummies or other edibles). Cold pressed coconut oil is what we’ve used but pure mct oil is available on Amazon and it has no coconut flavor. It also bonds with the cannabiniods better so you can get the most out of the infusion. I can walk you through it if you’re interested. Very easy with a crock pot or insta pot.

Whatcha running next? I ran into problems getting sprouts going so I have a few different things trying to start up. Nothing live above ground yet though. RQS titan f1, ethos pineapple runtz that will probably die and new ones that were dropped just earlier, ILGM runtz, ethos Citradelic sunset and three bag seeds that was being called peach maraschino. Oh there’s a RQS epsilon f1 circling the drain on life support but if by some miracle it grows, it’s probably either going to take longer than the advertised 60 days or it might finish on time but only produces an eighth or so. Maybe overdid it in numbers but I ought to get some plants growing soon.
