They will continue to ripen without leaves, ripening refers to the buds and trichs. You can let them go for more amber if you want, no problem.

@Growdoc
I did end up cloning some tomato plants. Took 9 cuts, put them in cups of water. 3 in a cup. Put them in window and changed water every few days. They all rooted within 2 weeks. I mean lots of roots in 2 weeks. Lol
I wish weed clones were that sucessful.
:rofl::joy:

I let my Dad borrow my power cloner last week, he’s 81 and just now found out about cloning plants. I told him half my plants were clones. It blew his mind when I told him what seeds cost now. I told him I’d give him something to practice cloning on. Lol. He does like a gummy….

His 4x4 and 2x4
I kinda like the 4x4. Lot more room than 3x3. You know how I cram em in there. Lol

I learned how to clone 25 years ago. Was taught with rockwool cubes. Had great sucess before.
Not as good now. Lol
Need more practice to stay consistant.
Ive seen alot of these cloners, do they work pretty well?

Honestly I didn’t care for it. It made roots pretty quick but always had leaks around the collars or stems or power cord, I just clone mine in Promix or coco precharged with 200 ppm of Jacks. I have a high success rate and clones don’t fade, they stay nice deep green color.

U cut them and put directly into promix?

3 Likes

Yep, cut just below a node, dip in honey or aloe and stick in Promix, then in a dome with a light over them.

I will have to try it that way.

I mix 40% perlite in my Promix, gives roots plenty of air space.

I have the promix hp. Would you still add perlite to that?

Sweeeet! :zany_face::sign_of_the_horns:t2:

I’d add another 10 or 20 percent, my mix has a lot of perlite.

One other thing, when I clip below a node, I also trim the leaves to about a third of their size. This is plenty to keep it alive until it roots and you’ll know new growth.
