What week of flower now?

Has the consumption dropped and led to over watering? Perhaps also the reason behind the spike in run off recently? How are temps?

Week 5 of flower.

Not really noticed much change in consumption. Sometimes its dry every other day, sometimes every 3rd day but never longer than 3 days.

Temps with lights on stay in the lower 80s. It rained alot recently and humidity has been a little higher than normal. Around 60%.

Parameters seem ok. I’d imagine it’s after math. see why others have to say

What would be some signs of over feeding jacks?

The most obvious is burnt tips following down the serrated edges of the leaves.

I had that last week lol. I belive this is stage 2 . I had a couple runnoff testings over 2.5 ec in the last month.

I think what you’re seeing is the damage from the overfeeding. Overfeeding was the action, that was the reaction!

Thats what im thinking too. About all i can do to fix that is dont overfeed anymore aint it?

Yeah, the damage is already done, keep numbers in line for rest of time to finish best it will.

Seams like i ran into this on my first grow using foxfarms nutes. Back then i didn’t know what to begin to look for lol. This time i feel im better prepared to fix it .

I would personally only give water until runoff numbers come down and your EC is back in a acceptable range more isn’t always better

Ive been doing water only every 3rd feeding. That worked for awhile then this last time i made up 2 gallons with jacks and 1 without to dilute it down and my runoff was around 900ppm. If i go back with just water this time you dont think the runoff would be to low? I imagine ppm would be down below 500.

The meter reading can be misleading for anyone not familiar with it…

Your last run off I saw

Not bad.

That was the around 900ppm one i was referring too lol. Maybe i should do another diluted solution feeding? It will be tomorrow evening. I was gunna do it tonight but i can still feel some moisture in there and the RH is already high enough.

That was the last feed also? A couple days ago?

Yes sirrr… here are the last numbers again just for clarification lol.
In

Out

This is the diluted jacks. 3 gallons

I’d probably go in at around the same strength.

With standard strength was it trending up? If so I’d maybe consider going in around 500 or on your meter 1000uS

Edit

Also take into consideration the demand shift that is probably underway. Heading towards ripening.

Yes it was. I was going full strength 4/2 and she just didn’t handle it like the last one did. Like you said every plant is a little different lol.

Are you talking about her needing less nutes as i get farther into flower?

Yeah, as the plant moves towards ripening its consumption drops, so you could see run off numbers trend up.

Edit….

She looks like a fast finisher. Have you scoped anything out of curiosity? Lots of receded pistils. Could be a 7 week strain?

Sorry for the edits while you are typing.
Lol
