Just my .02 cents here but I’d wait for an additional 3-4 nodes of growth inbetween toppings. Seems to have worked well on my grows.

i appreciate it brother, where do you top it at? i know it seems like a dumb question but this will be the first time doing a second topping. lol whats funny is this was my first topping lol
On young seedlings when the nodes are still parallel I pinch out the new shoot between the Y.
And on sexually matured staggered nodes I pick a spot slightly similar to create a sorta Y and pinch out. This is normally my 2nd, 3rd, etc toppings to create a flat canopy or keep my outdoor shorter. (Next summer I’ll continue my toppings wayyyyy past early July. I did 3 toppings and they still hit over 9’ after the stretch lol)
