@BluegrassHaole temp higher. Swamp cooler off. Garage closed while out going to New Mexico. Heat of day. Not worrieng at all. Summer I will stay mid 80 as we get hot. Even with cooler wide open. Might hit a 90.
In all my years I have never seen nature be exact. Landrace strains can take everything..lmao. these hybrids not so much but it is still a weed. Averages over exacts. Just my thoughts.
Good start. PLEASE remember auto flip whenever they want. If it was me I wouldnt train my first auto at all. Here is why.
Grow experience level.
Auto being finicky and not real stable
Lack of time to veg through an issue
We all want training and big yields.
That being said, more auto grows under your belt before more advanced growing. I am sure you believe you have it down but trust me, 2nd grow you do not. No matter how much we help. If photo I would be hollerin to train now.
Auto I do not recommend training till you are comfy getting them to veg, researching strains that love training.
I am NOT being a negative Nancy. I am trying to save you pain and suffering.
Totally just my observations on auto and advanced training.
i agree, i know i have jumped the gun. this is my 1st auto and only my 2nd grow ever and I can fully admitā¦. I dont know shit. I now have a lot of beans and thought Iād play around a little bit. I definitely will not do any more training to this one and see what happens other than that, is looking OK from what I did.? When i woke up it was stretching back up from the training and another node shooting out the top.
I appreciate it! I read a lot of the forums and journals here and there are a lot of amazing grows on here. I suppose I am honestly just getting overwhelmed from all the different techniques and hearing how people try some stuff and it doesnāt react well and then somebody else does the same thing and it reacts really well. Itās honestly making me second guess what Iām doing. I want to try a lot of different things so I can see what works for me. This is where patience comes in. I need some more of that if anybody knows where to get it.
Most definitely alot of different ways to grow and its kinda fun seeing what these plants can take just dont stress play around and find what you like @BluegrassHaole
Your best bet here is to pick one and follow only that. Then after that run, pick another. What is good advice for one technique or cultivar is not for sure good advice for another. There are a vast many ways to shave this particular kitty.
I had the same dilemma when starting. I went with Jackās and Coco and due to simplicity. Starting you could determine your local weather and life schedules to determine what you want to do. I literally saw what someone who lived in my region was doing and followed that.
Looking good. Can do some pruning at bottom and remove a few fans. Will promote veg. We want lotsa veg. Just like Hydra, 1 falls and 2 more replace with leaves. Get as much veg as humanly possible.
So I could prune the cotylens and the first 2 sets of true leaves already. Got some potential tops from the bottom 2 node as they are now level with the original main cola and I could not resist and did one more LST to spread out those future tops. She is taking well. At least I think I may have made a mistake because Iām seeing a couple pistol hairs at these nodes already. It really is fun to try and manipulate the plant to increase its footprint. Iām looking forward to running another photoperiod So I can really play. This waiting game is hard
Day 27 and she is growing wider and taller everyday. This is pretty crazy to see the changes over night. I didnāt really know what to expect with auto flowers, but I didnāt really expect this. I hope I can keep the momentum going and deliver a solid grow. As always, I like to think everybody is for him that is gave me advice, encouragement, and conductive criticism. I appreciate it and hope to make yāall proud. Iām taking what you tell me and trying to apply it the best I can.
