A ton is a unit of mass (i.e. weight) that is equivalent to:
2000 pounds (short ton) in the United States.
2240 pounds (long ton) in Britain.
907 kilograms (metric ton) in most other countries.
Shit-ton is equivalent to 24 metric assloads, or 1/10th of a fuck-ton.
