What kind of canopy did you fly? My last one was a Russian para commander. 1974ish.

My brother was an Agricultural pilot and we always argued the wisdom of leaving a perfectly working aircraft.

I started jumping in 1981 on T-10s and para commanders. Then moved on to squares and I currently jump a Stiletto. I have over 3,000 jumps, made a couple on Saturday. My icon is a steerman bi-plane where I exited in the middle of a backloop…camera mounted to the tail took the picture.

I couldn’t even imagine jumping… I cannot even got off a roof with a ladder…

I am actually afraid of heights like a building or bridge. Somehow it is different out of a plane. I have jumped of a bridge a few times…scariest thing I ever did.

1st ju.p didnt bother me at all as i was busy remembering all the chit i learned in ground school…the 2nd one however SCARED the crap out of me! LOL

3k jumps holy crap. My jumpmaster was “BIG RED ONE” and hard core. What he taught me saved my life.
