2 part mega crop new version

I’m interested in what formulas others are using with mega crop 2 part 8-12-28.

I had one light on the old 5-12-28 when i ran out my second light started flower 3 weeks ago on the new formula.. The bag said 3.9g a and 3.2g b. I found it to be a bit strong was like 1000ppm or 2 ec.
My plants turned dark green and nearly nitrogen toxicity with slight nute burn.

I went 70% @ 2.7a 2.2b still was creeping toward clawing and some magnesium deficancy.

@ 4g part a and 2 grams part b still seems nitrogen toxicity. I dropped down to 3g a and 2g/1.8 b. And it seemed to stabilize a bit.

Anyone running less than 2g calnit having calcium problems in early flower?

I also run sweet candy at .5g aswell for the pk and magnesium. I’m also in coco dtw. Would like any feedback with what you all experienced.

Everyone I’ve seen using mega crop nutrients has had some difficulty with mix and some type of problem. I’m not sure exactly but @Mmanson1981 nhas used this nutrients I think maybe they could be of some help.

I use the MC one part and in flower use their Bud Explosion. I have used it my last 3 grows and have had success. There are quite a few on here using one part, can’t recall anyone using the two part. Good luck on your grow.

Are you using the bud explosion in soil, coco or dwc? I just bought some and I am wondering if I follow the recommended dosage for soil?

I started with the MC 1 part and switched to the 2 part due to me running reservoirs and the 2 part is cleaner. I run the 4/2 on the part A/B and my mix comes out around 1.6/850 PPMs with my water source at 170 PPMs and seems to work well :love_you_gesture:

I grow in Coco and auto pots and pretty much follow their instructions for mixing the nutrients.

I would use bud explosion in coco to avoid the algae in my drip lines, but I have a greenhouse vegtable garden and love the sweet candy and have a large bag.

The bud explosion is 0-34-34 which comes out to about 34ppm of p and 76ppm of k at 1 gram per gallon.

The sweet candy is 0-18-27 which comes out about 21ppm of p and 59ppm of k at 1g. I like the less p on sweet candy. I think I’m around 60ppm total p on my mix. I also think the sweet candy has a bit more magnesium which i need to reach minimums.

For my mix I’m around 11%n to 21%k at .5g. At 1 gram I may be pushing a lockout with to much k. Be careful with the bud explosion less is better.

I’m starting to think megacrop messed up with 8 nitrogen in the part a the old 5n version was rock solid. I’m seeing on my new crop the ghost og has 3 times more single blade leafs between the bud sights, than my last light which was flowered 7 weeks under the old formula. I’m kinda sad about it

Slight update new crop seems 4g of a to 2g b is about right in early flower with .5 sweet candy mainly for k and mag. Still slight n toxicity.

Running at 3g a 2g b with 1g sweet candy is good mid/late flower. Nitrogen toxicity seemed to stabilized. All on ro water. If using tap water with mag oxidize and calcium carbonate. Part b should be reduced to 1.5 and would solve the nitrogen toxicity.
