That works best for me. Last run I topped at the third and manifolded some. I learned that after topping to let them have a week to recover and grow before manifolding. Did the side by side both ways. Major difference. It was alot of shock to them to do the whole process at once. We learn as we go…

Yessir. All it took was for the plants to get slowed down a little bit and the others just grew right over the top of them stunting them even further.

I do the third node, but maybe a bit late. Rocbud blueberry passion auto I did at day 19. It didn’t even crinkle a leave. The mephs I did at 22 and it looked sad for about three days.
Going to try in get in there sooner. How much height you recommend on top. 1/4 inch to snip?
I’d rather get it done sooner as well.

Its madness alright 
On my autos, the moment there is enough growth past the 3rd, I clip them. Its like you said, probably a 1/4" of sprout. For most of the autos I grow, this is usually around day 14 in hydroponics or coco with constant fertigation. Phenos and genetics matter so if the plant looks weak or I have limited experience with it, I’m a little more cautious.

Pretty much lol! I didnt have any teflon tape so I soaked a piece of masking tape in water and wrapped it around the broken base. We’ll see??
