It’s not the trichomes that curl it’s the pistils… and I scrolled up to the last pictures of the buds and I’m thinking you may have a month or more to go, those are very young flowers. I’d have to see full pictures of the buds to say 4sure obviously
@MeEasy
Gotcha…the hair coming off the female love saks… I will do some more research on that as well…I’ll get some pics of her asap…it’s going to be raining here for the next week…
@MeEasy
here are some more pics of sweet Sammy… she’s only about 36 in tall… and really started flowering right after she really took off in the vegetative stage…( I noticed there was one spot for both plants that they just shot up).
Right after she shot up she started flowering September 1st area…
Seeing the whole plant makes it easier to make judgment calls 4sure… it’s a good lookin plant good job… those flowers should still stack on some good fatt before it’s ready… here’s a picture of a plant that I am watching it’s almost finished, see how the hairs are starting to curl up back to the bud that’s what you want to see it lets you know it’s almost there and to watch the trichomes
@MeEasy
Thanks. That’s really really helpful…
I’ve got a lowest temp of 41 degrees at night through Halloween. Lots of rain so the plants are under the eve of the house so they don’t get soaked… so I’m good for the next 10 days or so… we will have to see what November holds… I just purchased a 36 x 36 ×63… (still in the box) grow set up.
… right now they are not getting much light underneath the eaves of the house along with the rain… Oregon doom and gloom has arrived!.. also at night condensation is developing on them…with that said… we’ll have to see if November 20th is feasible without developing mold problems…
I’m wondering if the elements get too bad in November would it make sense to possibly just bring them in and and finish them indoor…?
You can definitely bring them inside just remember once you get them finished before starting anything else in the tent that you clean the L out of if. I like to use peroxide in a spray bottle and wipe it all down. When you bring a plant in from outside it could have any number of things on them
I got a lot done today…was going to use this for ventilation when drying buds…and or save a mother plant…but I think I’m leaning toward a little hobby in the winter… I’ve enjoyed this so much …I don’t think I want it to end…
I think this is going to be my next purchase…but could use input.
@MeEasy
Do you have any recommendations on how to bring these or one of these inside?..or someone who might?
Do you think I should start a new topic on this?
SOME QUESTIONS
Does the cold slow down the growth process?
And would bringing them in get me where I need to be…(maturity)?
Bigger(more end product)Yield?
Would it be Safer? Possible Mold concerns the longer they are outside…
Right now Sunset is 7:42 to 6:30 and the light that they are getting is overcast and not direct because they are under the eaves when it is raining…
Wouldn’t they get more light and production at this point… indoors?
Then what they are getting?..
When it’s not raining they do get moved to a location where they get direct sunlight but it only looks like there’s only 4 or five days of that in the next 30 days…
Just some thoughts…
Another question would be what are the adverse effects or possible adverse effects bringing them from the outside to the inside?
The cold and rain is going to cause an issue anything under 65 slows them and under 60 could stop them completely. If you can at least get em into the garage you would help em but a tent would be the best just anytime you bring something in from outside there’s a risk you bring bugs and or disease so when you finish them clean and sterilize the tent before starting the next ones. The new light you picked is a much better choice.
Makes sense thanks…
@MeEasy what would you suggest for the time that I put on the lighting? Sun up at 7:40am goes down at 6:08 should I keep the light schedule exactly the same as the sun schedule?
I would make sure that it gets dark pretty close to the same time and you can go 12 hours dark 12 light it’s close enough. They’re used to bright light (the sun) so I would start at 100% but as far away as you can and lower it a few inches every few days if the top leaves ever taco (fold lengthwise) it’s to close back up a little and you’re good. I’m not familiar with the hlg products but you should be able to get it down around 20 inches before worrying about burning plants but take it slow getting there because it’s different from what the plant is used to.
Do a crotch watch daily if you see anything that looks similar to a tiny watermelon that is a boy part and there could be one or in a bunch like grapes… here’s a pic of boy balls

I haven’t actually bought the light yet what lights do you use?
I like spider farmer lights I have a couple different ones and I have two of what I consider the best lights made theyre from thegreensunshineco es300 v3 … like I said though hlg is top notch equipment but like spider farmer a bit over priced you can’t go wrong with either one because at least you know you can trust the name.
What size tent are you getting? Maybe I could help you out with picking a decent or good option in lighting… I’d need to know what kind of money you want to spend there’s some bargains on lower quality good lights all the way up to stupidly overpriced name brands
Right now I have a 32 by 32 by 63.
It’s setup with the ventilation system going out right now… I have that 300 watt light that came with the kit. But what I’m hearing it is not a good light setup.
Unfortunately I think it’s going to be a little bit too small for my purple Ray Hindu which is about 48 in tall .
I won’t be able to achieve the distance of the lights over the top of either one of these with this tent
so I might have to buy a different tent. … realistically the budget would be nice around $300 or less but understand it could be more.
Should i also get another tent that could accommodate?
Or could I put the light on the the upperside opposite the plants…? Just to get these finished?
Wasn’t anticipating having to bring these in…
Oh so you have that 1st setup you showed me, damn bro sorry I obviously got turned around here I talk to so many different people I get crossed up sometimes.
You can put the plants in there with that light and it will finish the plants fine the flowers are already developed and just need to ripen and that light will do that. Just keep em out in the sun until you have to bring them in… would they do better under better lighting probably but probably not that much. Now if you are going to continue growing inside I’d invest in a better one
