1st Grow Outdoors Lower Michigan

Pretty sweet, I’ve been growing outside for years, had to move inside a greenhouse, due to bud rot, with flowers that size. I grow in 30, an 45 gallon fabric pots. Have to take a break this year to work on security issues, do to thieves last year.

Sweet happy growing. Still trying to figure out how to post pics.

Mine went outside today as well. They are both LA Confidential because of all the seeds I had on hand those seemed best suited for Michigan. Transplanted one from 3 gallon pot to a 45 gallon bag. Other one will get transplanted in a couple days.

Trying to get a head start on the year starting the plants in the middle of March, hoping for 2 big plants to harvest. Don’t really need a harvest, but I want to see how big I can get them.

On the bottom of the screen there is an icon looks like a pic. Click on that and you can upload or take a pic and upload. Experiment and have fun.

High,
Welcome to the grow forum. Nope no one said anything. I live in a legal state and am taking advantage of it.

Gerant, do you happen to know the dimensions of the space where your 8 plants are?

I’m probably about 40 miles south of you and will be building a fenced pen for 8 photos. I’ll have to add some room around the inside edges so the deer can’t “giraffe” over the fence and reach the plants.

My plants will eventually be transplanted from their current 3 gallon plastic pots to 10 gallon fabric containers so they won’t get close to the size of the monsters that you grew last year. Good job!

High,
Well maybe you need some wildlife management. I know just the person. Anyway it’s about 24’x9’ in the west side of my garage. Fence ended up 8 foot tak and they towered over that. It was a “jungle”. Not only the girls but the other animals and amphibians and insects. It was actually really cool. Had tree frogs, mantids, lady bug, toads and many other “good” things. It was a great grow season. I had all the luck on my side. But I got a lot of help from this forum plus I have to admit I did spend time with my babies. Trimming, weeding, etc. anyway just came in from “Behind the garage” and am babbling. I love to bow hunt and so does my grandson!

Thanks! I’ll probably go with my initial plan of 15’ x 20’.

The picture that you posted earlier really let’s me visualize those dimensions.

Thanks again!!

High,
You are welcome. Here is a clean pic. Seedlings in the ground.
