Goodmorning friend. I took time and read down your post. It sparked a question .
Now that you have used the coco for a bit, how do ya like it?
I myself has been watching users with coco for a while. Wondering how you felt so far.
Have you got past your learning curve yet?
@kw_Bat So far I really like it! It seems to be a little more involved than using soil. In my first attempt with soil I would get bored in between waterings. But pretty much this whole grow I have been feeding it multiple times per day. I’m in 100% canna coco no perlite. I check the run off EC and pH after every feed. Also the plant seems to grow faster in the coco. The plant I have right now was much bigger at day 21 than the last one in the fox farms. Granted I’d need a bigger sample size to really confirm. I feel like I still have things to learn about the medium coco, but I’m definitely pretty comfortable with it.

I know whst you need, more plants. That would fix that.

The key take away for me.
Coco requires the gardener to stay connected with the plant 24/7. You have to know the plant. This keeps the gardener totaly synched with the plant. This sych ahould be done in any medium i feel, but, coco demands it.
It appears to me that coco forces a person to stay connected.
Nutin wrong with growing in that stuff. It will maximize plant size in a small space.
It would be a chore for me. I have many plants. I already make up water every day. I have 30 plants currently running. I could not sustain the work involved in my set up.

Yeah having that many plants would be insanely cool. That would probably require some automation in coco. A lot of coco people have pumps and things set up or they use bottom watering bases. I just don’t have a lot going on and I only have the one main plant right now. So I don’t mind getting up close and personal with her. Maybe one day I’ll have an operation as big as yours 
. I would love to have like a cannabis nursery.

Coco is bad to the bone.
I guess i have tried to justify the use of coco for me. I see stuff going on wkth others on the net and wanna do what they do. I guess i am wasy influenced by others.
Still, for me i comes back to what i have always said. What we use to grow is determined by our grow space and our poverty level.
I grew out of a 14 x 14x 36 tent for 3 years. I grew some of the best weed i vever smoke in that thing. I had a HLG288 hanging sideways right up on top of them. Rock hard buds like you wouldn’t believe..
If i ever get a chance i will try coco medium and living soil as well, just so i have the experience. Both are bad bass
I respond slow. On a cell. Cant see, cant spell, i am plucked.

After experiencing what I and others believe to be a possible power issue. I have evaluated my setup and made the one adjustment I could make. That is plugging my 300w light directly into the wall. Eliminating 25 ft of unnecessary wire between it and the breaker. I hope that I don’t experience more issues later if I have both lights cranked up. Right now one tents light is on its lowest setting.
Anytime I move something in my setup it leaves me twitching a bit untill I know it’s preforming the same or better than it was before. I don’t really like to move things once they are set up. With that said I kind of want to move my main plant under the more powerful light. But that involves moving multiple things and seems like too much. I am obsessing a bit about trying to be as absolutely perfect as I can be and it’s exhausting.
