1st grow, "KISS" method down the drain

Is the yellow only on leaves that are blocked from light?

Yes, definitely only leave low on the plant, or deep in the branches.

Tribures Flower day 31

Moisture levels is way down into comfy range thanks to the new dehumidifier! Plants look good. Flowering sites are progressing, looking happy.

So they can be removed because they are not getting enough light

I don’t think the low yellow leaves are a warning sign or unusual at this point. I read somewhere a suggestion that growers defoliate the lowest 1/3rd of the plant, which supposedly focuses the plant’s energy upward, and helps keep bugs at bay. I don’t go that far, but I do some light lollipopping down low.

Your girls look beautiful! You’ve got a green thumb!

Brought the potted warriors inside before the hail storm comes. They haven’t been inside for quite a while, so it’s really noticeable how HUGE they’ve gotten.

Covered mine when I got home too. Nasty dark clouds heading this way and I can hear the thunder. At least I was in time for the this one!

I’m with you brother ! My Apera (the same as yours) has only been calibrated twice. I did it once and it worked really well. I didn’t trust it, bad experience with my last pH meter, so I re-calibrated it a week later and nothing changed. It didn’t really need the second calibration. I have used it for 4 months now and it is working flawlessly every since. Best $46 I invested in my grow. Jerry

Really nice @Lia ! They sure have grown. Good work !

They look great, really hardy.

While tributes and warriors are just chugging along, I’m making tincture from pruned leaves.

Had to cross the state line from MA into CT to buy the high proof grain alcohol. Weird ass-backward laws.

Warriors, week 23!

Audre is 29 inches tall with just a few yellow leaves:

Elizabeth is still yellowing a lot, but she’s up to 31 inches.

Fed them both today. pH and ppm numbers are all good. Full strength nutes (Nectar for the Gods) for the first time.

And Jane… That girl is a best. 46 inches tall, and hugely bushy. Totally upstaging the tomatoes behind her.
