All I have experience with in flowering is vacuum, sulfur burner, chlorine dioxide gas, wettable sulfur spray, Safer soap, and Safer 3-in-1.

I know people using edit: Lost coast, mineral oil spray. Also DE spray for thrips, but works even better on spider mites. I believe @Caligurl Purecrop1 can be used up to harvest.

You still have 4ish weeks to go. Have time to get something. Just need to turn off fans and suck them off at lights on.

As for cleaning the tent. Put 1 tbs of bleach in a gallon water. Spray and wipe down the walls.
Or
1 Qt water, 2 drops bleach, 1 tbs vinegar and 1 tbs peroxide in spray bottle with 1 drop soap. Spray and wipe down the walls.

Thanks for all the help. Did some water soap and peroxide for tonight after vacuuming. Get something in morning. Captain jack dead bug brew, someone said worked good for them. See they have it at wallyworld. I’ll keep everyone posted thanks again. Hopefully I can get it under control.

It’s not recommended to use spinosad after week 2-3 of flowering because it can affect the aroma and flavor of the buds

Both PureCrop 1 and JMS Stylet-Oil (which is food grade and cheaper than PC1) both can be used right up until harvest, although, personally, I would try and hold off the last 2 weeks but that is just me… it depends on how bad you r bug problem is.

EDIT: I bought my JMS Stylet Oil on Amazon and had it the next day.

Thanks for info brother. Now clean with bleach tent that’s when I finish growing or can do that now with plants in there. Might sound dumb question lol. He said only stupid question is the one that not asked lol.

That can be sprayed for a few more weeks. It’ll help to slow them considerably, but it has never eradicated them for me. Glad you got purecrop1 on the way.

You could do it now with the fans off, but bleach is more for post harvest cleaning. I assumed you wouldn’t wanna remove the plants, so I posted the plant safe vinegar and peroxide one in case.

My LSDs from ILGM look absolutely nothing like yours, to be honest none of them that grew really even look similar.

A light mist of water makes the webs visible.
Lots of water might drown the invaders.
i really like the Vacuum idea, Kudos!
I have pure crop one and wash the harvest.
All good methods.
Thanks.

Just came for a drive-by cajun. I see you have a major issue at hand. My remedy is purcrop1 and Capt. Jacks DB alternated . Have never used the vacuum because , like you , I was confused how not to destroy the weed. Makes sense to vacuum close but not to close. I also use a q- tip and go in there and kill every one you can see. I put alcohol on the Qtip last time but you could probably just wet it with water, use magnifying glasses (cheaters/reading glasses) annihilate as many as possible. Spray everyday for 4days alternating between sprays. Wait a week and do it again. @Budbrother you have experience with sulfur burner. Do you still use it? If not why? What are the pros and cons of sulfur burner. I think I want to go this direction. Thanks ahead for your response. Cajun good luck. Be relentless in the killing of those dreadful mites.

I haven’t used a burner in years. They stink up your place, but they’re highly effective and cheap to run. It gets all the nooks and crannies of your space, so nothing is left without a coating.

I moved onto wettable sulfur for the same effects without all the smell. It’s not a complete space coverage, but you’ll get anything touching your buds.

Hey good hear from you @RightAway. Been doing ok til this lol. Thanks for the info.

I really value your advice and recommendations. How and when do you use the wettable sulfur? With a burner wouldn’t you only use it occasionally to keep the room clean ? When you say stink up your place will it permeate thru the whole house ? Cajun I am sorry to see you with this infestation. Silver lining … it’s not corn earworms. They TOTALLY suk. Mites are something you can deal with as long as you go immediately into eradication mode. They are very persistent and it takes time to completely eliminate them. Luckily you have just enough time to make a conscious effort to eradicate. Stay Happy my friend, all is not lost.

Words to live by (or bye).

Burner: I used to run one in the grow shed outside way back. Used for bugs, mold, and post harvest cleanup after bud rot. It’s the better option for flowering issues than wettable.

Yes, it has a tendency to escape the room. I taped the room door and sealed the AC duct in the room. It was escaping somewhat; hard to seal up gas 100%. A negative pressure room contains 95% of the burning smell. Post burn is a :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: It stinks for days after, and it permeates the environment; especially, when coming in and outta the room the next few days.

  • Not for tents smaller than 8’. Now a day there are better options for smaller spaces -

In a large space with ventilation running, it’s the chit. It messes with your VPD, depending on your personal environment. You gotta turn off intake line, turn the evac down to a crawl, or it just sucks out. Eventually you’ll figure out how much it takes to be burned off and subsequently evac’d before lights on. Might be a lil weak, but you’re gonna repeat in 4-5 days.

Wettable: Great in veg and ramps up the terps. Read the directions for brand. Generally, you’ll mix with water at a rate of 1-2 tbs/gal at lights off (best with temps below 80°) I have BaS brand. That’s 2 tbs/gal every 4 days.

Not for flowering generally speaking past wk2. If burner isn’t an option (gorilla) in an emergency infestation situation only to reap a personal harvest, can spray lights off, and then wash off H2O and dry thoroughly before lights on. Bud wash post harvest. Will have some buds have a slight taste. Doesn’t carry over to concentrates, like BHO. Why? Better options for flowering.

Good read.
